This is a beautiful heart shaped dutch oven to keep for generations. It is great quality and the right size for side dishes. Just looks great on the stove! But the bottom is smaller so this is not a good pot to sear meat. It is more for soups, heating thing up, a side dish, maybe rice or beans or mashed potatoes. Small enough for 2 people.

This is really an adorable pot. However, it is far too small for my cooking needs. It would be great for sauces but at this price, I need it to be more versatile.

The answer is STAUB! JUST BUY IT! Love love love this beautiful, perfectly sized, heart shaped staub. Easy to clean...nothing sticks not even oatmeal... Washes right out with water. Heats quickly, goes from stove to table to fridge looking always beautiful. The handle look small but are actually well positioned and sized for safe handling. I have zero negative things to say. BUY IT!

I returned because the one I received look used and had some chips in the enamel.

This little croc is missing the staub nubs on the top of the lid. So I'm not sure why you would not just get any old cast iron ceramic pot. The whole thing behind staub are those little nubs on that top lid to help baste whatever it is you're cooking. The heart is cute, but don't pay full price for this item.

This is the perfect size for cooking for two.

An amazing pot, with stunning design! I use it everyday for cooking noodle, porridge, etc.
