Microsoft PZ3-00006 850 Wireless Keyboard - Black

I have purchased a number of these for work and they work well and have a really good battery life, rarely do I get any complaints when people use the Microsoft keyboards and so I tend to stick with them. No issues with any, the only problem you may encounter over time is the text on the keys can disappear but I often find this is related to long fingernails rather than normal daily use. Well worst the cost and I would recommend these and will continue to buy them.

I bought this keyboard at the start of the lockdown as I knew I’d be working from home on my work laptop. This wireless keyboard feels nice to type on (it’s far superior than the one I had in the office). I would highly recommend it. I do not yet know what the battery life is like, but having used it for several hours every day of the week for the last 6 weeks, I have no complaints

I tried 3 other wireless keyboards in the run-up to this one, and this is the only one that didn't have any sticky keys, or that had a lag between typing and showing the text on screen. It works well and is a great option for quick typists, designers and coders. 4 starts instead of 5: It is also the only wireless keyboard I tried that didn't have a built-in space for storing the USB receiver, and it also does not have a on/off switch so battery power could be affected although I am yet to test this. Summary: * All keys work well, even when typing at a speed of over 90 words/minute * The communication between the keyboard and screen is very good. There are no delays between typing and it showing on screen * This keyboard has a separate USB receiver (like most wireless keyboards), but no built-in storage for it, so you risk losing it easily * There is no on/off switch, so if you leave the receiver in the laptop you run the risk of the batteries being used if your laptop is closed (but not switched off). * It is full sized. This is a pro, because it's like using a normal keyboard, but also a con as it is not easily stored away or easy to travel with.

Currently on offer at £17.50 and a great buy. Has a lovely profile unlike some keyboards where the keys a very chunky. Connected to my laptop instantly once the usb dongle was inserted. Comes with Duracell batteries which should last a while. Does has a shiny black finish around the edges which some may not like but to me looks fine. So far very pleased.

I've always used M/S keyboards (and Logitech mice). This 850 replaced my 800 model (the 800 model is used elsewhere now). and it feels great, good quality. Never cheap tack from Microsoft - always recommend M/S.

A great keyboard for people to use if they are needing a keyboard - and at the time when I bought it it was at a fantastic price for a microsoft keyboard.

Very good quality for the price, the only downside is that it does not have a light to show that the Caps Lock is on, but this is easily overcome by looking at your laptop. Easy to set up as it does it by itself, lightweight but does not bounce around on the desk. I have not had it that long but it does a lot of work and the batteries seem to be lasting, I did test them and the batteries still show full power. I would recommend it if you want a low cost Bluetooth keyboard.

The keyboard is great. However the USB peg has failed, it's been plugged into the desktop since purchase in July and I went to remove it to swap to a new machine set up (in September) and the black "handle" came off and now the keyboard doesn't work anymore. Really disappointed as the keyboard is good. I wouldn't mind if the peg had been pulled in & out lots, but it is literally the first time I removed it from the set-up. As an aside, if you are purchasing a keyboard to use with a laptop and plan to put the USB peg in the laptop and leave it - this isn't the product for you. The USB peg sticks out about 15mm so is unlikely to fit in your laptop bag (and you'll probably suffer the same failure I did but sooner!).
