I guess the other reviewers here [referring to 5 star reviews]; perhaps only use straight-stitch (as opposed to decorative stitches).As had got size 18 of these needles [in the same packaging]; a while back (usually using size 16, on heavily-interfaced fabric). But have only been able to use them once, with an exceptionally heavy job: so had put it down to that size perhaps being TOO much.Now with these [size 16]: I KNOW what a size 16 should sew like (as that is the type I usually use); but with this type there are skipped stitches all over the place, and the reverse looks a complete mess. I have tried different tension settings, and also changing to different one.By the way, I have a Singer sewing machine that is suitable for heavy duty work.
