Thule 926101 Velo-Compact Adapter

Bought this from a Warehouse deal at a discounted price as the box had been opened. The adapter was in perfect condition and the bag of bolts was still sealed. Once assembled, it is easy to attach to the main carrier and feels secure when tightened. Bought primarily to carry a kids bike as seen in the picture. Used recently on a cycling holiday in the Cotswolds and was more than happy with it.

Originally bought a 3 rack from Thule, then needed a 4th. This is the best option, albeit expensive. The quality is there, but it is not the easiest to put together and adjust, but once done will remain in situ. The bike rack is safe and sturdy but is heavy, even without the bikes. Worth the money? clever design and accommodates needs - definitely

Now my kids bikes are too big to go in the car, I had to extend my 3 bike carrier. This, although costly, works perfectly and the build quality is excellent.

Well made, but a bit of a faff building it up and fixing it. Adds even more weight to a seriously weighty item. Makes lifting it onto the tow bar even more of a task

Does exactly what it's supposed to and very simple to fit. Picture instructions ok. Everything lined up as it should and took about 30 mins to assemble.

Great quality,. You get what you pay for.

The box and carrier were both damaged on both occasions when delivered. But there isn't much you can do when pushed for time. Luckily, all worked perfectly well.
