It works
I guess I don't have much review writing imagination. The heading pad works. It's warm. It's fuzzy.

Small heating pad with vinyl covered heating insert for dry or moist heat
This is a pretty old school smaller heating pad that consists of three elements:1. a washable, removable fuzzy cover2. a very thin piece of open celled foam that fits inside the cover3. a vinyl coated sealed heating element attached to the electrical cord and controller.First the 12” x 15” cover: I like that it has the operating instructions and most serious warnings sewn on top as a helpful reminder. It is a fuzzy, synthetic material with slight stretch longitudinally. It is washable and soft, but sheds a bit.The grey foam insert is what the manufacturer describes as ‘the sponge’ for providing moist heat when dampened in water and placed between the cover and the heating element. It is very thin and not particularly sturdy, so it will require attention and care to keep functional over time. Packages products often come with disposable foam inserts more substantial. The vinyl coated heating element is comparatively inflexible when at room temperature, although it does become more flexible when heated. The heating element has four options (warm, low, medium, and high - degrees only indicated for high temp) and heats to a high of 176 degrees F, which is the Underwriter’s Labs (UL) maximum for products of this type and consistent with most other available products I’ve tried. The controller is simple, with each heating level having a different colored LED, which may help use by people with limited vision. While the heating pad does have a 2 hour shutoff, there is no other timing element, which is really a shame. The pad heats more slowly than the best products I’ve tried, but isn’t terribly different than the average products, taking between 10 and 15 minutes to hit the target temperature. The cord is an average, usable length. The heating pad comes with an instruction manual that is comprehensive and comprehensible. If you really need a pad that can be used for moist heat as well as dry heat, this will probably work for you, but it does miss out on some bells and whistles of other products.

Lots of warnings about how to use but it sure feels good on my sore shoulder
While all the warnings are troublesome, I bravely tried it out anyway promising to myself that I wouldn't lay or sit on top of it, fold it in half or use it without the cover, etc. It starts to heat up right away and within a few minutes, you can really feel it especially on the higher settings. The heating element is encased in pvc so you can add water to the "sponge" which is flat and a bit smaller than the heating element. I really love this feature as the moist heat makes a huge difference when I use it on my shoulder or neck and upper back. The cord is nice and long so you have some room to maneuver and the control is on the cord about 20" away from the pad. Though it says not to fall asleep with it on, there is an automatic shut off which kicks in at 2 hours in case you do.I use it on low and medium heat the most. Medium can get pretty warm so if I think I might fall asleep, I set it on low. You can really feel the moist heat. When you take off the pad, the area feels moist though not wet so it seeps into your shoulder or wherever you need it. I often use a rice sock, but those go cold after about 20-25 minutes. This works much better and lasts longer. It has a nice soft cover that is washable and that's a definite plus for a heating pad. I will get a lot of use out of this one.

Not Worth the money
If you lean back on the pad it bunches up and doesn’t stay flat.

Small heating pad that works well.
This heating pad is super soft, comfortable and very simple to use. This heating pad has safety certification, which is very important when it comes to heating elements that will be used around your body. There are different heating setting to choose from, the four heating settings to choose from are Warm, Low, Medium, Hi. The heating setting are great because you can select which setting what is comfortable for you. I recommend that you do not start with HI as it does tend to get very hot. Once you plug in the heating pad it only takes a few minutes to heat up. This heating pad works great for you shoulder, back and neck area. This heating pad has safety certification, which is very important when it comes to heating elements that will be used around your body. One of my favorite things about this heating pad is that it is washable even though it was only hand wash. I highly recommend this heating pad.

good heat, but needs a few more snaps on the cover
This heating pad has several good points and one negative one. On the plus side, it's easy to use and has multiple heat settings. The size is also good for multiple uses (especially lower back and stomach warming). The high heat setting is quite warm, but not hot enough to burn you while using it. I liked that you can remove the cover and wash it as well as moisten it to provide damp heat without danger of shock or damaging the electronics because the entire heating pad is coated in vinyl/plastic.The only down side is that there is only one snap in the top to hold the cover on. The plastic heating pad tends to shift around because there is not much holding it in on the outside edges. It can slip out a little on either side and this would be easily fixed by adding two snaps on either side for better closure. The only other issue is that, when it is cold, the heating pad is quite stiff and you have to wait for it to warm up to comfortably hold it against your body. Other than that, I was quite happy with this.
