Waterproof Blanket, Couch Covers for Dogs, Reversible Protector

I cannot tell you how grateful I am for this thing. I poured water on it so you can see how when they said “this is waterproof” they actually meant it and then some, this cover is actually aquaphobic and that alone is amazing but also the blanket doesn’t hold the pee pee smell AT ALL, and it doesn’t make any annoying crinkle noises, it’s soft and comfy.I bought this blanket out of pure panic because my poor cat got cystitis (from stress, we’re moving) and the poor thing is having bladder control issues after the gaba and Buprenorphine components of the treatment that were introduced.This blanket is a legitimate godsend and I love (and emotionally needed) that I don’t have to toss it in the wash every 5 seconds (the other ones I panic purchased- one pee completely puts them out of commission and they stink immediately, they just absorbed the pee and did prevent the couch from the hit, but ultimately it was very inconvenient anyway).With this blanket, I don’t have to do that! I just paper towel the mess up and wipe it with a (pet-safe) sanitizer and move on. I can focus on providing to comfort my lil man without the mountain of pee blanket laundry looming in the background.I figured I’d make a review for other people who are caring for sick or older animals and might be stressed on how to deal with that while not creating Pee Blanket Laundry Mountain or people that are interested in protecting their couch, or wherever they need to use this on, from spills of any kind.It’s solid, I am not drowning in cat pee blanket laundry, and I am so grateful I found this blanket. It really helped me out in my and my poor little dude’s time of need and kept my couch that I also love from harm.Also, just in case: it stays in place pretty well and the size is accurate to the description. Measure before you buy if you need to, and you’re good!

Had the item for a few months now. It has held up well to the dog jumping on it and walking across it. The cover is over the couch where the dog has an area to use. His nails have not caused any damage. It isn't the large size, but it covers about 2/3 of the couch; the seat cushions and the back with extra material to overlap the back and cushions. It seems to be waterproof as stated, because the dog's drool doesn't soak through to the couch. Cover has a quilted appearance. Fabric is soft, although it is a thin material. I find the cover to be very easy to use upon the couch. The dog likes to lay upon the cover and leaves it alone when he is on it. In my opinion, the cover does the job. I haven't washed it yet, so I can't say how well it does in the laundry. I liked the price of the cover and have been pleasantly surprised at its ability to take the treatment it gets from my dog. Unless your dog is a chewer and likes to nibble upon his blanket, this cover should do well if you want to protect your surfaces.

Got these for my couches due to my senior GSD sometimes having accidents in her sleep. They work very well. Seem to be holding up to washing and drying very well. As they get washed once a week just like bed linens. Along with the occasional in between washing from an accident. Had a huge cup of water get knocked over on one and it never made it through to the couch. Definitely worth getting to protect your furniture or anything you need a pad to protect. These are definitely more comfortable than what I call the old nursing home pad. Due to the way these feel they would be great on top of a mattress. My opinion is they are easy to remove and wash. They also wash and dry very quickly in my opinion. Fair warning as I got a big one to go on top of my bed covers as my dog sleeps in bed. Which this cover did a great job once already and didn’t have to immediately change and wash sheets. Is there is no air flow through them if you use it as a blanket. So if you use it as a protective topper for bed sheets you might to have lighter blankets than you normally do.

bought this blanket to protect my couch because my dog always wants to sit with me.The fabric feels soft, comfortable, and thick enough for everyday use.I really like that it’s waterproof because it helps with small accidents, wet paws, and spills.It also covers a good portion of the couch, and the gray color blends nicely with my décor.It washes easily and is ready to use again without much effort.For pet owners, I think this is a very practical buy.

TLDR - soft, doesn’t make me over heat and dogs love it. Not waterproof but nothing has leaked through so more like water repellent. Not fur repellent but fur doesn’t stick as easily to it as a normal blanket.I have two large dogs and was in the middle of potty training the one. I bought 2 different blankets to try for my bed as they climb up in the middle on the night. The first one was another brand and was fleece like, excellent at water repelling (I spilled a water bottle on it and the water just wicked off & the puppy had a few small accidents and I was able to clean easily just by blotting and throwing in the washer. Water/pee just kind of beads up ontop) but felt like you were sleeping under a trashbag; it just kept so much heat. That blanket is now on my couch as a cover.I purchased this blanket in size 80x102” and it is excellent so far. It does leave some drool wet spots on it and liquids do not “bead up” on it but I haven’t had issues with anything leaking through. I will have to do a test run with my water bottle as the puppy is now accident free & will update, however he did throw up on it an few times and that did not leak through any layers. Size wise, it is on my queen bed and covers the entire bed with enough length that it drapes over the sides and foot of the bed. I can sleep comfortably under it without over heating and it’s very soft. I don’t LOVE the quilted pattern, but I couldn’t find one in my price range that came in a color I liked AND was water/fur repellent as well as comfortable to sleep under. That being said, I love that I can sleep knowing if anything happens my blankets underneath under aren’t ruined and I can easily throw this one in the washer with no issues. Side note - wash this by itself as it holds water and sometimes I need to run a second rinse cycle but it dries fairly quick in the dryer. Is it fur repellent? Sort of. I find fur doesn’t accumulate as much on this blanket as a normal blanket, but you will still get fur stuck to it. Over all, for the price, size and ability to sleep without worrying about bedding being ruined or wet, I do really like it. I would highly recommend this for beds, couches or road trips in the car.

Love this! Fits on a king size bed, soft and my dog had no problem laying on it the first day. Easy to throw in the wash and saves the comforter from being full of hair and paw dirt. Happy with this purchase!

I purchased 3, in various sizes and colors. I like that they came in so many options. These are still only alright; they are somewhat waterproof. If enough liquid sits on it for long enough or pressed into it (like someone sitting in liquid) it will soak in. I haven’t washed them but I imagine the waterproof nature would disappear entirely, as I imagine they are just scotch guarded. They are thinner than I expected, and a little noisy when crinkled about, as they are polyester. I think they are overpriced for what you get.

This couch cover saved our couch! Our elderly dog keeps having "accidents," and now we can catch and clean it up in seconds without any damage to our furniture! Thank you for such a fine product at a reasonable cost.

Great product, can literally see liquid pool on top before seeping in so it’s definitely water proof. Easy to throw in the washing machine, dries fast. Arrived fast, long before the ETA. It’s the perfect product for the old doggos couches.

We have 2 Saint Bernard’s and 4 cats. This waterproof sofa cover has been a life saver! It IS waterproof and slobber proof, stays on the couch and washes up nicely. It comes in different lengths, to fit on any surface. I also have one across the end of my bed. A must have if you have pets that go on your furniture!

This product worked brilliantly when I first got it. My cat urinated on it and not a single drop got through, not even the smell.I washed as per the instructions provided above: gentle cycle, 20 degrees Celsius with non-bio detergent.Most of the waterproof coating has not gone. I tested it with a small glass of water and it’s now useless.I’m upset of course as I did what they said and I spent £65 on this!I’ve contacted them for help so we’ll see if they update the care instructions and send me a replacement.

Best buy by far , my dog has not scratched it to pieces and fits perfectly 😊
