fits 2007 2008 Acura TL Flip Key Fob Keyless Entry Remote (OUCG8D-439H-A)

I gave this a 4 star because it saved us so much money. To get a new key fob nd have it programmed through Acura would have been over $500. I called a locksmith & they came out nd did it 4 me. The 1 MAJOR problem with this is the key is TOO thick. It fit in the ignition but not anything else. Overall I am still happy with this purchase.

The key/fob came quickly and new as advertised. Got it cut and programmed for my 2008 Acura TL.Unfortunately it only locks and unlocks the doors. It does not operate the trunk or the emergency alert.So it partially works. I can unlock the doors and then push the button for the trunk to open inside under the dash. Still better than buying from the dealership. But not exactly as advertised.

I don’t usually write reviews but this time I’d like to put down some notes hopefully it will help others looking to buy this key.The key works as advertised. What you see is what you’ll get. I bought the key for an Acura TL 2007. It was successfully cut and programmed by a locksmith for $50; however, he didn’t know that the keyless remote need to be programmed separately so it didn’t work at first. I was able to program the remote in less than 5 minutes by following a tutorial on youtube.The key set is made with good material in general; however, the blade easily get stuck inside the fob. This can be simply resolved with a small knife.This key costs me a total of $82 which is a lot better than $200 plus buying at an Acura dealer.

I bought this FOB, had it cut at dealer and the followed enclosed instructions to “program”. It will unlock doors, but the engine won’t run. I suspect that the anti theft mechanism in the car doesn’t recognize the FOB.

It works fine for my 08 Acura TL. Just had to take it to the local locksmith to get it cut and programmed cost me $80. So be sure to anticipate that. But still cost less than the dealership.

I was cautiously optimistic as the product description said it matched the exact FCC ID on my OEM key (For a 2007 Acura TL - Type S). Based on that, I ordered 2 keys and took them to my Acura dealer for programming. They were unable to program them to function as anything other than a valet key. It was not possible to assign a seat memory setting to these keys. That's a major downside for 2 drivers requiring very different seat positions. As a work around, we took out the electronics/chips out of these keys and replaced them with the chips from the original keys. The result is I was able to achieve my goal - partially. Success with having the key fully retract into the housing. But since the electronics are the original, I now have a new housing surrounding very worn buttons. But at least I have 2 keys that fully function without the shank hanging outside the housing. Re: other reviews about the key being too 'fat' for the ignition, this was not my experience. However, when a new key is cut, the edges will be very precise and you will want to make sure to pull the key out of the ignition slowly vs. yanking it out (which could cause damage). The key will eventually 'wear in' with use. Or you can lightly file the edges.

really nice one, i would recommend to make it more better by adjusting the alignment of the key inside the fob, attached picture,All in all thanks i really like it, all the way better my old one,

Used remote to replace existing broken remote. However casing dimensions are slightly different and parts are not interchangeable with OEM.

My 2007 TL key fob was in pretty poor condition. The dealer was ripping me off - charging me 250$ plus. Ended up getting this switchblade key, easily swapped out the uncut key with my original key from the old FOB. Programming took me 5 mins and everything works perfectly. Great buy. This fob feels a little lighter than the OEM one and is missing the Acura logo in the back - both are minor differences and dont bother me. This is a great buy and a easy DIY for anyone with a Philips screwdriver..took me 15 mins.
