Great Quality at a good rice

These drill bits are great. Sharp and with a point for accurate locating.Hopefully they will stay sharp.Unfortunately the case they arrived in was smashed to bits (no pun intended) although the exterior packaging was undamaged. Given other reports of broken cases I think they need to look at a better case quality, as without a decent case you end up with a load of bits rattling round in a drawer.A good storage case is an important part of a tool set like this.

These drill bits arrived in their own plastic storage case that was shrink wrapped.One of the hinges on the case was broken off and not in the wrapping. Other reviewers have mentioned the same thing so it’s obviously quite common. There is also a small red locking ball that has to be cut off before the case can be opened.I’m pleasantly surprised with these bits. They’re sharp and cut through wood quickly and neatly. I don’t know how long they’ll last but at this price they’re almost disposable and so far they’re holding up well. Not sure if they’re fit for professional use but they’re fine for a DIYer like me.The local trade warehouse sells a similar set of 5 bits for the same price, so at £5.98 for a set of 8 these are great value. These bits have performed their job well so far and seem reasonable quality. My only criticism is the broken case (which seems to be common) and I’m knocking off a star for this.

As advertised value for money

These are decent bits. I've only used the 1/8" bit so far but haven't noticed any wobble with my set. It's nice to have the brad point to make sure you're drilling where you intend to.
