Used it this past year hunting on a 12 guage and it worked great, appears to be able to handle the recoil of slugs without any issue. My only complaint is the length of it, but that's something I knew going into it. It's a very compact scope and that caused a little bit of an issue getting the black ring around the edges due to too much eye relief.
