My grandson loves dinosaurs and any animal toys. These are well made. They stand upright and don’t fall over. Great buy. They are not soft however if that’s what you’re looking for. These are a sturdy plastic.

Let me first say that these are great for my 3 year old and she LOVES all of her Boley animals. The reason I'm giving 4 stars is only because some of the reviews RAVE about the quality, how much nicer these are than "cheap" animals, etc. but they are exactly the same. My daughter played with some her cousin had and loved them and my SIL informed me they were all from the dollar store. So I came to Amazon in search for some of her own, found these and ordered. Turns out they are the exact same animals my nephew has. There is nothing wrong with that at all, and I still feel they are a good value for the price and what they are. But just be aware they are dollar store plastic animals and you won't be disapponted thinking you're getting something of higher quality. Nevertheless, we are happy and DD plays with these for 20-30+ minutes at a time regularly. One final note...they are anatomically correct. I thought this was a little unnecessary detail and my daughter definitely asks us EVERY time she plays with them what those parts are. Just FYI.

I assumed the animals would be solid, but they are not... they are hollow. However, I don't see this as being much of a negative, if at all. They all seem to be well made. The legs of each animal seem to sturdy enough and/or flexible enough that they would not break off unless you really really tried. I think they will hold up pretty well for quite a long time, even if they get into a lot of "fights" with one another! The paint jobs of all the animals are very good. Overall, I would say I am very happy with this purchase. I think my friends son will agree.

I purchased these for my 2 year old daughter since she is very interested in animals. I had a hard time finding animal figurines that were inexpensive and more than 3". These are the perfect size for toddlers! They are very light weight and are textured. They do not have a plastic smell to them. One thing that you should know is that you can see on certain animals where the head has been glued on. It is more noticeable on some than others but overall they are very neat and exactly what I was looking for. I am very happy about this variety set and looking forward to my 2 year old playing with them on Christmas!

These are truly accurate wildlife replicas that will educate as well as provide much enjoyment. Nice to know that there are still products being made that encourage children to use their own imagination and spark their wonder without everything being electronically done for them as they passively watch. These safari animals may even encourage children to learn more about them. Well made, and nice to display too. Keep up the good work, Boley!

I needed them for my summer classroom and the kids 4 and 5 years old loves them.

They are nice and big! What I didn’t like was several of the animals had red eyes and the lion has red paint on his teeth that looks like blood. My plan is to put these out for my sons 2nd birthday and they’re just a little scary for my liking but for older kids they may be good!
