D-Rex Interactive Dinosaur

D-Rex is absolutely adorable. He acts like a puppy and even seems alive at times. I purchased D-Rex for my son, but I like to show him off to my relatives and friends! You can call him from the side and he will turn and walk towards you. He burps and farts and laughts at himself and will laugh at you if you do the same. He get's really angry if you hit his nose and will back up and snarl at you. If you pet him, he starts making cute noises and wags his tail. If you put somehting in his mouth he will chew it. You can ask him questions and he shakes his head yes or no. This is a fun interactive toy.

Heck, even I like this toy. It's silly, it's funny, and it acts like it's going to eat you sometimes. I was hoping to have a bit more interaction than my imagination ran wild with when ordering it. It's chasing around of people is more of a slow stomp in their general direction for a bit with the growls and facial expressions that are the toy's strongest suit. I think it's a great toy, but I knock back the overall rating because the description reels you in with higher expectations. Definitely recommend reading through some of the various reviews to see if the reality of the toy is what you want.

Hesitant at first about purchasing this for my 5 year old dinosaur-mad little girl. Happy that I did. Does all it's advertised to do. Put batts in and tried it out before wrapping it up for Xmas....had a ball just playing with it myself. Looks a little mean in the beginning but it plays, growls, bites his bone, walks around the house "looking" at things & comes when you call it. It's like an ugly puppy that somehow starts to look adorable. Has great facial(?!)expressions. My daughter is going to LUV this, and to me, seeing her so happy is worth the pricetag. Super toy!

Finally, a toy maker has used technology to create a remote control animal with realistic facial expressions, in addition to amusing movements. Both his cute and cuddly and fiercesome personalities are highly entertaining. My sons (ages 5 and 6), spent hours talking to D-Rex, asking him questions such as, "Did you ever see a volcano erupt?" D-Rex will answer, "yes," or "no" with a shake of his head. My boys were very impressed when D-Rex responded that he had seen a volcano! Since our boys bonded with D-Rex, he is one remote control toy that has stayed out of the box and continues to be a favorite well after he was first opened.

I first saw D-Rex the Interactive Dinosaur, on television during a commercial and could not find one anywhere so I went to Amazon. And of course you had it.This is one of those toys that is not only fun for our 7 year old grandson but the rest of the family. It's so much fun ! Its amazing what this dinosaur can do. It walks and talks,obeys commands chews on a bone which is the remote,moves its eyes, furrows its brow and loves when you pet it on the head. I would definitely recommend this toy to anyone who likes to be entertained. It was a great Christmas Gift to our grandson from Santa.

I had to rush purchase this gift for my 5 year old grandson who wanted this only toy for Christmas. It was not in any toy stores till after the holiday, and I really wanted for him to have it on Christmas. We left this present for last, and did his eyes widen..This is the cutest little dinosaur that I have ever seen, it follows him around, calling for him, growling, purring...even the cat and dog seem to like it....this was worth the shipping expense....

My 7 year old son had this for about a month and we threw it out already. He wanted to pet it and he gently rubbed the head a few times. The hole for the sensor on top of the head split and there was about a 1 inch tear. I picked it up to move it a few days later and it ripped about another 4 inches. I used tacky glue to fix it and next time my son picked it up the "skin" on the back split right open"The rubber skin was realistic looking and feeling but was not at all durable.
