So I think to myself, this thing doesn’t have too bad of reviews and it is really good price. A few days later kicking myself in the butt! I rarely do reviews, because honestly it’s a waste of my time, but this is got to be the biggest waste of money ever! I think maybe even more than the ones you find at your local pharmacy sitting in the front shelves.I’m so stoked, just got myself an iPhone X, I’m going to go wireless now. So I buy this thing, plug it in and put my phone on it. It seems to be doing OK, I keep noticing the blue light that says it’s charging get dimmer and dimmer than my screen turns on then the light goes off then it goes back on. ( The number one way to kill your battery is to plug it in and remove it multiple times in two minutes.!!!) I figure maybe it’s just my phone I don’t have it set up right, I turn it off turn it back on it does the same thing makes it to about 80% charged, I started at 66%. So 14% over about a half an hour is kind of garbage! I do a force reset not knowing how to use my phone and it goes today emergency mode, reset my phone again put it back on and now the dock makes weird noises kind of like a beep over and over and over and over again!! Drove my coworker crazy! I unplug it in, plug it back in to the charging port, which gets stupid hot. If you read the label for the charger it says it doesn’t get hot, yeah it’s because the charging block that plugs into the wall is taking double the heat! So I took it and unplugged it and let it sit for a half an hour. Plug it back in and there is a little red lite that says it it’s getting electicity.... and that just continually BLINKS!So all in all with This charger I got a total of 14% charge for a half an hour of its poor plastic and electric wire existence. Other than that, It’s great! I bet you could use it as a hand warmer, but that would probably only work for a few minutes also.

Okay, here's the skinny. I have two of these, one on my desk at work and one on my nightstand at home. They both work great. My ONLY problem with these is the light. When the phone is on top and its charging, it glows bright blue. When you pick your phone up, it turns a dim red color. At work its not a issue because the lights in my office are always on. But at home when my phone is charging while I sleep, the light is SOOO bright that it literally illuminates the entire room!! If you are a side sleeper (like myself) this will especially irritate you because the light is shining in your face all night. If they somehow switched the colors to dim red when its charging, it would be perfect. But unfortunately, the brightness of this neon blue light could probably give the sun a run for its money!

it won't work with samsung s8's official 2 section slim case. always charge a few min and then stop and then start again, very slow. I bought 2 charging pad, both acting the same, later I find out only one of the 2 section case was on the pad and the other part is in the air, thus the phone is not fully in parallel to the pad, which could cause the trouble. I use sandpaper to sand of part of the pad so that the samsung official 2 section cellphone case is fully in air not contacting the pad at all, and it charges normally. I do not feel like to sand another pad, and put another case on the phone to make both pad working normally.Pad should not only considering working with samsung phone, should also with its official case.

This wireless charger is pretty & well priced but it does have a constant blue light while charging which is not ideal for bedside charging while sleeping. I didn't read that anywhere when I bought it so just FYI people! I decided to just keep it & bring it to my office. I'll just order a sleep friendly one for my bedroom. Also, it does get a little warm but I'm not sure if that's normal as this was my first wireless charger.

I was having a message pop up on my Samsung S8 telling me there was moisture in the charging port, so I couldn't use my regular USB chargers. Not even my car charger. I found out it was some glitch with a recent update or something, so I bought this charging pad. Worked when I was in a bind, but it charges pretty slow. Also, you have to set down the phone JUST right or it won't recognize the phone.

The idea of wirelessly charging my phone was very appealing to me. When I saw the price for this item I thought it was too good to be true and I was unfortunately correct. After unboxing it, I had to pretty much find the perfect position on the pad before it started charging my phone. After convincing myself the slight inconvenience was worth it for the cheap price, I took it to work. After a couple of weeks of sporadic use at my desk it stopped working. The charging port receded into the device and just felt like a cheap bootleg device. I do not recommend buying this if you like longevity! I just ordered myself a couple of standard charging cords and will happily pay a slightly higher price for the peace of mind.

Love the look of this charger. It’s small, sleek and inexpensive. And the blue light while charging is pretty neat too. However.... I have a larger Belkin charger that I had purchased for 4x the amount of this one and it charges much faster. I would say this charger works great for overnight charging, but don’t expect much of a battery boost in a short amount of time.
