The external 2TB has worked great and reaches advertised speed for a fairly decent duration via a white label PCI-Ex USB3.2b 2x2 card, using it to scrub uhd footage, very satisfied Highly recommend it, all of TeamGroup's memory devices have been an excellent experience for me thus far. ☆knocks on wood☆

I'm using this solid build quality device with great storage capacity to backup a large amount of my Steam Library to be moved between various functional devices. It is very portable and works really well. No noticeable heat problem and seems to dissipate heat well passively. Speeds are blazing and it was a great pickup for me!

Great drive until a recent Windows update bricked the device. Buyer beware, this uses a Phison E16 NVME controller which if you have an AMD CPU like me, might cause the drive to become inoperable if you're over 50% capacity and attempt to write a 50GB file to the drive. It's been 2 months and there hasn't been any solution found. Also I will add, if you attempt to write a 50GB file under these conditions, the drive becomes dangerously hot, like scald your hand if you touch it hot, and that's the plastic enclosure on the outside. I can only imagine the actual internal temperature and the damage that's being done.

The product arrived a day EARLY. Imagine that!!! So far we are pleased with the product. It takes a long time to write 4TB of data... will let you know when we see the "disk full" message. :-)

Solid SSD for storing those bigger files like videos, movies and wedding photos. I found the transfer speeds to be blazing fast, even when using a 2017 Macbook with a USB-C connector. Solid build and sexy casing, it definitely looks better than most drives out there but my favorite feature is the loop that makes more tactical when you are on-the-go. You can use this with PS4, PS5, Xbox One and all the modern Computer operating systems (all the way back to 2014) with no problem. Buy it and store what matters. But note: It is always good practice to not ONLY rely on an external hard drive, as they can fail at any time. Best scenario is use this drive, but pay and backup extra special things on the cloud.

A couple of warnings: The SSD failed on me after a year. Replaced under their excellent warranty. 2nd unit failed after a week. I had noticed that it gets quit hot when transferring large amounts of data to the drive (e.g. installing AAA games). I suspect (though don't know) that this may be related to the driver's failure. Lastly check your system to make sure it supports gen 2x2. Not all USB4 ports do.

THE DRIVE HAS A NICE DESIGN AND APPEARANCE. THE SIZE IS PERFECT, NOT TOO SMALL AND NOT TOO LARGE. I TESTED THE DRIVE WITH MULTIPLE LENGTH AND MANUFACTURER CABLES (INCLUDING THE CABLE WHICH CAME WITH THE DRIVE). THE TRANSFERS WERE CONDUCTED WITH 10 GB/S USB-C CABLES CONNECTED TO A SUPER FAST USB-C 3.2 2 PORT ( NOT THE ELUSIVE 2X2). THE RESULTS DID NOT LIVE UP TO THE ADVERTISEMENT. MY RESULTS FOR SINGLE FILES OF 4-8 G/B WERE 660 WRITE AND 1G/B READ. THE RESULTS SHOULD BE CLOSER TO R1000 / W1000MB/S . THE DRIVE MAY PERFORM BETTER WITH A TRUE 20GB/S USB-C CABLE. HOWEVER I CAN NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT UNTIL THEY PROVIDE A BETTER QUALITY CABLE, ADDRESS THE POOR WRITE PERFORMANCE OR SIMPLY STATE A 20 GB/S USB-C CABLE IS NECESSARY TO REACH FULL TRANSFER SPEEDS. OTHER DRIVES IN THIS CATEGORY ALTHOUGH ARE GETTING SOME SIMILAR RESULTS. I MAY CONSIDER DOING A LONGER TERM TEST ON THIS MODEL...

大きなテレビで動画や写真ファイルを見るためにこのハードドライブを購入しました。最初の約4か月間はほとんど問題なく使用できていましたが、その後、設定などは何も変更していないにもかかわらず、パソコンやテレビがハードドライブを認識しなかったり、ファイルの再生に問題が出るようになりました。現在はハードドライブが表示されることもありますが、非常に動作が遅いです。 残念ながら、故障が早すぎて信頼性にも欠けるため、この製品はおすすめできません。

Fast drive. A bit larger than a memory stick, but still very portable. As it's 2TB, transfer speed is very important if regularly moving files and this unit does not disappoint. Feel very sturdy too. Would definitely purchase again if I needed more storage.
