I wasn't aware the purchase had a warranty mandate. I bought directly from StewMac. No warranty implied. Shop around. **Q: So what are the radius notches with diamond grit if not used to crown after you level a fret? whats the purpose of these notches then?** A: The notches don’t have the diamond coating, they sit on the fret before and after your high fret while your removing material, once it’s level with the others it won’t rock anymore **Q: Will using the fret kisser and a fret rocker be equivalent to a fret leveling?** A: Hi, thanks for the question. Both of those tools are used to 'spot level' specific areas of the fingerboard. For instance, if there was a high fret it would help single those out. The fret kisser is the same as the rocker but equipped with abrasive. More of a quick fix if the frets are in otherwise good shape. A fret level is generally referring to taking down the fret material across the entire board all at once.
