Awesome!
The ONLY touch flaslight I could find , and it's nice !! Very easy to use. IF ANYONE KNOWS WHERE TO FIND THE SMALL FLASHLIGHTS THAT ARE MOTION ON AND OFF BY TOUCH PLZ. COMMENT !

A flashlight that turns on with a touch - no switch or button to fumble w/ in the dark.
Only had this flashlight for a day, and have to admit it is just really fun to use. Two sensors that respond to touch, and I don't mean just your hands, but it is so sensitive that even finger nails will activate the light - as long as both contact surfaces are in touch w/ any part of your body. This is not a substitute for a regular push button flash light . If you need a light to stay on, and need both hands free, than this ain't the right tool. Has a bright enough light for most purposes (50 lumens}, and a long run time of about 20 HRS on two AAs. The flashlight has a 2-3 second delay after releasing, before it turns off - allows enough time for adjustment or shift to other hand w/o light going out. The body appears to be made of durable ABS plastic, and is rated to survive drops on hard surface from about a meter. Not sure about water resistance. As far as longevity before it fritzes out - TBD. I have two, and will definitely get several more. Really awesome light.

Cool Idea, But Not Practical
The touch flashlight doesn't have an on/off switch and is very light, so that's good for people with hand/finger issues. But it doesn't work with gloves on, so that limits its use. The other day I needed to adjust the dog's collar while outside in the dark and needed both hands, so I set the flashlight down, oh darn, no light. It's perfect for a young child who wants to use a flashlight, because as soon she's not holding it the light goes off. It's well built and not very expensive, produces a fair amount of light, but I'm undecided whether I'd buy another one.

Great for families with kids - less battery wasting!
I like that these turn off when the kids put them down. Also, I don’t know that they’re advertised for this or guaranteed to work if you do this but my kids have left these outside in the weather and they still work great.

Great for elderly
Ordered as a gift for my 94 year old grandmother. She has no strength left in her hands and can't operate the buttons or switches on standard flashlights, but she's wanted a flashlight ever since the power went out in her apartment a few months ago. This flashlight is light enough that she can hold it, and it turns on at the slightest touch. It's fairly easy to replace simple AA batteries as well, so she won't need to remember anything with fancy chargers or the like. She loves it, sleeps with it next to her bed, and keeps telling everyone in the family about the amazing flashlight I gave her. Highly recommend for people with disabilities, older people, or people who struggle to learn new technology. A wonderfully accessible tool that's improved my grandma's quality of life and given her a better sense of saftey.

not as useful as thought
usefulness is very limited , the selling point is also it's weakness, as soon as your hand is off the light goes out, there's no switch to keep it on.

Amazing!!!
Bought this for our elderly mom with dementia. As soon as we pulled it out of the Amazon box, we were 100% satisfied. It turns on as soon as you make hand contact on both metal parts, but ya don't have to grip hard or push/slide any buttons. And it GRADUALLY fades off when you let go, which is a great reminder for elderly to touch (grab) it again. Can't wait to show Ma how easy this will be for her! "Just remember the flashlight, ya don't have to worry about a switch!"

Great for people who have trouble pushing on/ off buttons due to age...
This flashlight is being used by my 90 year old mother who has trouble pushing on/ off buttons due to arthritis and generalized weakness. I improved the usefulness of this flashlight by adding a wrist strap to prevent her from dropping the flashlight. The base of the flashlight has a cut out where a strap can be attached. The light turns on just by holding the flashlight. We had fun by having two people holding hands with each touching the metal sides of the flashlight to complete the circuit and thereby turning on the light. The light turns off when one lets go of the body of the flashlight. Good batteries included, but I replaced them with Energizer Lithium AA's.

Easy use!
It is a really neat flashlight. I bought it for my child to use, and they are able to turn it on just by grabbing it. Really great.
