NRS Healthcare Baby Boa Constrictor Jar and Bottle Opener

Thought I would try this as my hands seem to of deteriorated with using my crutches and wheelchair constantly and gripping and twisting things has become really painful leaving burning pain for ages after, didn't think I would have this problem until I was an old woman, but just shows people need extra help at any age don't be embarrassed or try to soldier on no shame in needing a helping hand once in awhile . Arrived promptly and started using it straight away tested it on a variety of lids from bottle tops, jam jar lids to even a big jar of beetroot , opened them all no straining and no difficulty at all . Pop the rubber loop around the lid , pull it tighter in the handle and give a little push and job done, totally easy anyone can do it , such a simple idea but it definitely improves what was once a very painful task. If you have pain or dexterity problems I would definitely give this a go , I would recommend this little device. Excellent customer service from seller.

The rubber strap fits through a slot down the length of through handle body but it's not held in by anything and this makes it a little clumsy to use. I bought two as I needed to open a stubborn stainless steel herb grinder that had been jammed for weeks and they worked a treat. I'm pleased with these.

I had to write this review as I was so impressed with this simple product. I have arthritis in my hands so unscrewing bottle tops is a real nightmare. This is so so simple to use and so effective on all tops and bottle tops, all were released with ease. a well-made solid-built product well worth every penny.

Although it does work for opening very tight lids it does still require a lot of dexterity to operate.If you just have tough lids this will be fine.If you have arthritis in your hands this will be very difficult to use.

Works a treat, I can now open jars, bottles and most other thins that have been impossible for me to open for a lng time. For anyone who has a problem opening things because of lack of grip for any reason this is for you and you can use it to grip any size and other items as well such as stop cocks, knurled nuts such as those on shower units and much more.This is head and shoulders above the others as far as I’m concerned, i am very pleased with mine and it is well made and should last for years.

Perfect if you have trouble opening jars

I have another one by a different maker and the rubber strap is thicker and stiffer, as a result it stays in the slot when you are using it. This one the rubber strap tends to slip out of the slot. I have stopped this happening by haveing a rubber band around the handle and this holds the strap in place. In use I use two as I find with stiff lids I cannot hold the Jar tight enough to prevent it turning so I use one on the jar facing one way and the other on the lid facing the other way I can then apply max force without any problems.

Purchased this bottle/jar opener for a friend who I recommended it to,I bought mine umpteen years ago and it's the easiest opener I've ever had, it opens any bottle or jar with ease no matter how small or large it is,well worth the money

De este producto me compré uno. Cuando lo usé, y comprobé la facilidad con la que abría los botes compré otros dos para regalarlos. Para los botes de pequeño diámetro existen otros abrebotes en el mercado fáciles de usar. Para los de gran diámetro éste es imprescindible. Otra cosa es que yo los botes los reutilizo, por lo que me interesa abrir el bote haciendo el menor daño posible a la tapa.
