We put the PECS symbols under the clear removable cover. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good sound, colors match, a little hard to press for our dog *by R***S on 25 May 2020* We bought these to help train our dog to communicate with us through these buttons. The sound quality is surprisingly good (we had low expectations!), we are not talking about hi-fi speakers, but they are clear sounding. The colors of them are as advertised, they look good for this purpose and I like that you can put your own drawings under each one. The size is good, and I like that there is a Rec /Play switch, to avoid overwriting a recorded sound by mistake. I also like that there is a line in for audio to improve the quality of recordings if one wishes, though we have only tried speaking into the device. And there is an On/Off switch too. What I would like improved (for our needs) is to make the button easier to press. Our dog is very careful with toys and things in general, so the problem we have is that she will just sort of scratch/pull on the button, which will not cause it to play a sound most of the time. She is starting to learn that if she scratches it a bit harder sometimes it plays the sound and that this is what she needs to do. If you press down the button in the corner it will not play the sound, you have to press a bit more firmly maybe 1cm in from the corners for it to register. I hope this will be fixed for future versions as we want to buy many more buttons. We will have to work on teaching her to put more weight into this.
