This is one of those movies you will not regret watching if you like movies that have teachable moments while also being realistic. We picked this movie because we wanted to enjoy an Indian comedy. We came away with a wonderful experience. It's a movie that inspires change, encourages bravery and promotes making the right decisions even when it's hard.This movie provided a good look into the poor class of India. It introduced us to some of the challenges they face. That was probably my favorite part of the movie. It evoked the same feelings in me that The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind did. It makes you want to do something, anything to help those who are in greater need than yourself. No matter how poor we think we are there is always someone worse off and there is always something we can share or do to help those in need.Will watch again and again. I think it's a fantastic movie for children of any age as well!

There are those movies you watch for a laugh, movies that remind you of love, movies that are in fairytale land, but the rarest kind are the movies that make you think in a way that changes your actions. Hindi Medium is one such story that shows how much we have and how less we value it; it takes us on journey where instead of following what the world is doing, we try to change the trend. Yes it has a cliched end like most Bollywood films, but it shows a true story of almost every parent in India. I definitely remember the dance my parents had to do for my siblings' admissions.All in all the movie has left me all motivated and happy, and I feel even closer to home.

This is one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. It had a very nice message and I wish after watching the movie people take some time to think about what we can possibly do to resolve some of the issues that were presented in this movie. This movie should be shown to every student to show how some of us are very fortunate to get access to education. There are so many unprivileged children across the globe that are not as fortunate. If even 5% of the students understand the message and take their studies seriously, they will become educated and will increase the number of educated people in this world. The more people become educated, the better it is for our community.

A poor man married a wealthy bride. They had a daughter and wanted to get her to a great school. They found a way to represent them as a poor family. The lottery choose their daughter but not the poor neighbor. They felt bad and wanted to sponsor the boy. They thought the school was a rundown place and sponsor all the kids there to remondel the school. The old neighbor went to thank the sponsor and discovered them. The couple said they will take their daughter out of the great school and put her in the remondel schooled.

The story is great and very realistic and associated with real life issues in India. The actors are simply the best out of there and make it even more fun to watch.The lead actor was recently diagnosed with some sort of cancer which is very sad( in real life).I think if you have not watched a Bollywood movie before, this one is a very safe bet.Nice and entertaining. I can easily recommend this movie.

Being a teacher myself...I relate to the problem differently....Government schools or free public education makes people cynical in general....they value education only if a value in monetary sense or social prestige is related with it. In India and and many non English speaking countries it takes a different dimension but problem is same everywhere, even if some places education is not even valued and I wish people who have access to free education will actually start appreciating and taking advantage of the opportunity.

Beautifully crafted movie with a really heart warming ending. It's really sad to see what is happening with education in our country. This movie shows us the reality why India is still lagging behind other big nations. True and the best talent never gets the podium.
