Landmann 12093 Gas Smoker

Purchased as a gift for my son-in-law who lives in the UK (I live in the USA). The unit works well, some small shipping damage, big issue was that wrong propane connector came with the unit. It supposedly came with German connection. But he was able to purchase correct connector locally and got it running. Been using it just about every weekend since. They love smoked meat so now he can do his own pork butts, chicken, etc.

I read the previous reviews about the smoker being damaged but thought I would risk it. Unfortunately the item was damaged on the top, must have been a pretty big drop, as the corners were bent and the door didn't close properly. Luckily for prime as I have been able to send it back for a refund, I won't risk ordering another one and having the same issue.

This was ordered as a birthday gift for my husband, but unfortunately it arrived via parcel force and was badly damaged in three areas (and had signs of a re packed product) making it unusable.Have had to return. Order another one already, so hopefully this one will be as good as new!

Since beginning hot and cold smoking I have wasted my money on various smokers before getting one of these beauties.An absolutely brilliant piece of kit. Being a gas smoker you don't have to faff about with topping up charcoal and burning your fingers.You can use prunings from fruit trees which makes it cheaper to run. It generates a lot of smoke and produces really good low and slow American style BBQ as well as a wide range of hot smoked food.You can also use this as a cold smoker with the use of the pro q cold smoker generator. I have produced an amazing variety of cold smoked salmon, tuna, cheese, nuts, sunblush tomatoes, (amazing flavour), smoked dark chocolate which I use in mousse and truffles with a little Jack Daniels.If you are looking for a smoker which does hot and cold smoking and with ease of use this is the one for you.

Smoker has arrived with a non UK gas attachment and means we can not use it. nothing stated about this in product info. can not contact seller either to arrange return! big investment now useless.
