Excellent Quality, Smart Design and Worth Every Penny
The Peak Design Cuff Camera Wrist Strap is a fantastic product, and it’s easy to see why Peak Design is so well respected in the camera community. The attachment system is brilliantly designed — the clip mechanism makes securing your camera quick, simple and reliable. The black and red colour scheme looks sleek, and the fact that it can hold up to 200 lbs gives real peace of mind. Overall, it’s an amazing piece of gear that’s absolutely worth the money. Highly recommended.

Great strap, thoughtfully designed
Attached the Cuff to a Fuji X-T2. Works well, comfortable to use and looks unobtrusive but good in black. The strap seems to be made from the type of webbing that seat belts are made from, not the softest material but seemingly very strong. The quick connect design is very good and secure. I wondered about the need for wrapping around the wrist with the magnetic lock when disconnected, as with most straps I can simply leave it on the camera, quickly looping it around my wrist and disengaging from it one-handed. However, I realised that fitting this strap is a two handed operation, as you need to slide the clasp along to enlarge the loop enough with one hand whilst placing your other hand through it. So, sometimes, I do disengage the connector when the camera is stowed and leave the strap on the wrist, secured out of the way by the magnetic lock. That works well. Peak Deisgn now supply metal lugs for attaching to the camera eyelets, so there's no longer any need to thread the cord through the lug eyelet, as some reviewers had to do. These fit the Fuji XT-2 lugs just fine. As another reviewer pointed out, it's apparent the metal clasp could scratch the camera if not stowed carefully when still attached. I took precautionary measures by wrapping a small piece of washi tape around the clasp, which eliminates any risk of scratching. Some may wonder at the need to do this on what is a relatively expensive purchase; however, I'm more than happy to add the tape, as it means I can customise the look by using different washi tapes (currently it sporting a William Morris design). 20mm wide tape fits perfectly. Peak Design offer a lifetime warranty, and I can well imagine that the strap will last and look good for many, many years to come. Overall very happy with the purchase. Glad I wasn't put off by the drawbacks experienced by previous reviewers.

Indespensible
This feels far too expensive for what it is, but once you start using it, all buyer's remorse evaporates. The peak design system with quick-release anchors is excellent, and it's nice to have the real deal rather than cheap copies on expensive cameras. The strap itself is beautifully made, with all the little details absolutely nailed with thought and care. A wrist strap is a good option to have during more agile or discreet shooting, and can prevent disasters like cameras being snatched or dropped. Because of the quick-release nature of the anchors, it's really painless to switch to a neck strap or sling when you need to also. I'm afraid that the Peak Design carrying ecosystem of straps and anchors is actually as good as people claim and that its ubiquity is justified. It's a sweet spot of modern materials, attractive and thoughtful design and shocking utility. It's easy to spend a little too much on it!

Fuji Camera Owners - Read This Review
I love the quality of this strap, but I can't work out how to fit it to the tiny connectors on my camera. I've watched a couple of videos on youtube, but they are all using anchors with thiner cord. If I can't find a way to resolve this I will have to return it to Amazon. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it. As for the strap itself, it is amazing quality, it is secure and worth every penny, but please make sure that the cord will go through the connecting brackets on you camera first. If you own a Fuji camera please be aware that they will not fit your camera without the metal triangle bits that fuji provide for you to attach their neck strap that comes with the kit. In my opinion these little trangle attachments are likely to scratch your camera, and I for one don't want to use them. Revised Review: I gave this strap a 2 star rating because I couldn't find a way to attach it to my camera, a Fuji X T20. The instructions provided with the strap simply aren't as clear as they should be. Having tried most of the day to attach this strap I gave up. The strap comes with a great quality travel pouch, when I looked inside the pouch I found the spare anchor and two little very neet split rings. I attached one of the split rings to the connector on my camera and then it was really simple to attach the anchor to that, but the instructions provided no information about the split rings or how and when to use them. I think Peak Design need to explain how and when these split rings are used in their instructions. It must be so frustrating for Fuji Camera owners trying to fit the thick cord anchors that Peak Design provide to their cameras. If the instructions were clearer, I'm sure it would be of benefit to both Peak Design in respect to more sales, and Fuji Camera owners, who may want to use this amazing strap. Another tip I have, is there is a large square magnet in the leather effect part of the strap. Peak Design has designed the strap to be both worn and stored like a bracelet. There are two magnets, one in the leather effect portion of the strap and another in the plastic clip that attaches to the anchor. The idea is that you put the strap on your wrist so it fits like a bracelet, then wrap the rest of the strap around your wrist taking note of where the plastic clip ends on the leather effect portion of the strap. You then need to move the magnet along inside the strap so that it sits under the plastic clip, the two magnets then connect allowing you to wear the strap as a bracelet when not connected to your camera. Its really hard to move the magnet, but if you pinch both sides of the leather portion where the magnet is located and then push the magnet along, moving the magnet to the desired location becomes so very easy. This also allows the strap to be stored neatly away when not in use two. This is such a great product and I'm really please I worked out how to attach it to my Fuji Camera.

Expensive but good quality and interesting design - and just about fits Fuji X-T2
An interesting design that works well; lots of thought has gone into this. BUT there is a major difficulty for those with a Fuji X-T2 camera and similar ones that have tiny eyelets for the attachment straps to thread through. The eyelets are too small to thread the strap through! Apparently, Peak Design recognised this a while back and issued much thinner attachment cords for Fuji and similar cameras. However, after a while the thinner cords wore through, and so Peak Design reverted to the older thicker, stronger, ones. In fact, they will apparently replace any of the thinner ones out there. So, back to the Fuji problem, that you have to thread the thick double cord through the tiny eyelet. Well, after driving myself half mad trying to do this, I discovered there is a way - though it does mean a small modification to your camera. Inside each of the two strap attachment eyelets is a tiny stainless steel sleeve, which you would never notice unless you look for it. You need to push one of those sleeves out to get more space to thread the cords through. You need some kind of implement to do this, something that just covers the end of the tiny sleeve, but goes through the cast magnesium eyelet surrounding the sleeve. One thing that does this, is the closed end of the pliers on a Leatherman (wonderful tool, everyone should have one). Put the pliers end against the sleeve and push HARD - and the sleeve will come out through the outer metal. Of course, keep it carefully (I put mine in sticky tape and then in the Peak Design Cuff box) as if you need to, you can easily enough push it back in. Now, using something like a doubled-up length of dental floss looped through the attachment cord to pull with, you can quite easily get the cords through the wider eyelet, and there you are. Worth the effort, because this Cuff lies neatly against the side of the camera in use, and the attachment is not in the way when you detach the Cuff. Ideal for when you want to use a tripod - simply unclip the Cuff and leave it, as they suggest, as a bracelet round your wrist (sounds stupid, but actually works quite well). I hope that the whole Cuff arrangement will last a decent time, as it costs quite a lot, but it all feels good and a bit luxurious, which makes it a nice treat for oneself. Rather like anything to do with cameras is a treat!

The Peak of design
You get what you pay for and for this camera accessory, there’s a reason why it commands a higher price compared to others. It may seem like many other camera straps, but it’s engineered very differently, having a clever attaching mechanism that is simple but very effective, strong and seems very dependable. Since being a photographer, I have heard of Peak Design for many years and had been using a different system but was looking to change, especially to use in my professional work, something simpler but efficient, knowing how well received this new brand is. This system has a more fluid eco system and very well engineered and thought out products, so I can expand further into their products as and when needed. My only one tiny criticism, when the strap cinches on your arm, I would like an ability to somehow lock it, so does not fully squeeze around my arm, perhaps something in the next iteration. I’ll probably engineer something myself to enable me to do that for now. This is professional product no doubt and worth every penny.

Pricey but very well made - worth it
Genuinely impressed by the care to detail and how well made this wrist strap is - you can tell it's premium quality. Easy to attach to the camera; the cord is thin enough to fit through most eyelets but in case your eyelets are smaller the package even comes with its own split ring and a handy plastic installer so you don't tear up your nails trying to hold the split ring open. Very comfortable to wear and incredibly easy to detach and reattach from the camera with Peak Design's anchor system. You can even wear the strap as a wristband due to the embedded magnet. Oh, and you get two anchors in the box. Great stuff. Now I might need to buy the neck strap as well..

Great quality and useful little wrist strap
Well made, as with other Peak Design products and nicely packed and presented. I have found it useful, more useful than a full over-the-shoulder strap in fact, because it is so small and tidy. Quality of the materials is top notch and the connection to the cameras inspires confidence. After a couple of weeks use the leather in the strap is becoming nicely supple.

Perfekte Handschlaufe gefunden
