Sesame Street Elmo Plush Toy- Perfect Quality Hand Puppet

These are great for a puppet show we put on for my special needs nephew. He roars with laughter everything. They are cute and cuddly and a very good bargain.

To make a puppet look like it’s talking, you need to move the bottom of the mouth, instead of throwing the top of the head back, but this is not made to allow that, so it’s not very believable despite how cute it is.

Only thing you need to know is it is made for a child's hand. Not for an adult's sized hand.

This Cookie Monster hand puppet is a fun way to interact with children while reading. The construction of the eyes was slightly flimsy, so I removed a star.

Very cute puppet that will be loved by fans of Sesame Street of all ages. It is well-made and fits easily on my hand. I wish the hands/arms were fully lined – your fingertips end up in the batting of the hands – and you can pull it out if you’re not careful. Other than that, I wish the color was a more vivid and darker blue, but I’m being a little bit picky. I just think this Cookie Monster looks a bit pale. It’s still perfect for playtime and is a fun toy.

Edit: I’m removing a star as I noticed that the inner area for Cookie Monsters hands is not sewn, and stuffing can come out of it. It is a simple fix, a few stitches, not a big deal, but you definitely don’t want a little one pulling stuffing out.A previous review said it didn’t fit adult hands. It fits mine, I can move the mouth, and hands, and I have an average sized hand for a women. I wish the seam for the face and mouth wasn’t straight down the middle, that is the only negative. It came in a clear plastic bag, and with the Sesame Street tag. My daughter loves Elmo and Cookie Monster. We already have the Elmo puppet book, and her face lit up when she saw she now has a Cookie Monster puppet. Material felt soft and of good quality for a puppet.

Cookie Monster is soft, a little lighter than the actual Cookie, and you can operate both hands and the mouth easily. It fit my hand fine but while I was operating the arms I noticed that in both arms the puppet is unfinished and the stuffing is easily felt and can be pulled out. This does not bother my kids as they were immediately excited to add Cookie to their puppet theater (where he can eat everything to see if it is a cookie) and my youngest is currently snuggling with him as he sleeps.

This is a super cute Cookie Monster. My lil one loves him. It's very soft and easy to put in and use as a puppet. It's made well. The value is great and this would make a great gift for a fan of Sesame Street. Highly recommend.
