This works and is a strong fitting but as its a fold over clasp I didn't realise how much force I was applying and dented the top of my tap. Think this is user error rather than the device but its difficult to get a perfect fit on my tap. It took a bit of adjusting and a few attempts and a dented tap. Probably wouldn't have happened it I was more patient with it though.

I'm fussy to say the least, so was prepared to be irked... but this is very well made, solid, using high quality 'sturdy' plastics that do not feel at all brittle. Fitted over tap easily and the attachment mechanism was well designed and strong (taps design varies wildly, so may not fit all, esp more unusual big, flat types). Did not leak or come undone. Great product & value.

It only fits specific tap heads, I tried it on one tap and it seemed ok but when connected the hose to a pressure washer water sprayed from it, I went out and bought a Hozelok connection and that worked fine

Was under the impression this connector was universal but it didn't fit any of the taps in our house - not even close. A waste of money as when i select not compatible for intended purpose in returns it shows a returns cost which is nearly half cost of the item.
