Haden Boston 1.7-Litre Stainless Steel Pyramid Kettle - Cordless Electric Kettle with Water Indicator, Removable Filter, Dishwasher Safe - Copper (BPA-Free)

This kettle is the cutest object in my house. It also heats water (boils) in barely 2 min. It arrived packaged very well, and when it was out of the package, I instantly fell in love with its looks (cream variant). It's a bit noisy, but not intolerably so. It's designed sensibly.Update after 4 months of regular use:I have been using this kettle almost everyday since I bought it, and I am still in love with it. It is very sturdy; the handle is designed ergonomically; and it still boils water in less than 2 mins. The only adjustment we made was to install a 13 Amp plug point to avoid having to use a converter and associated issues in India.It's worth every rupee I paid for it!

It works ok. A major issue is that because of the extremely wide base, a lot of water has to be added , to ensure minimum level. So it takes a long time to boil, even when you need just 1 cup of water.

Amazing product.Top marks on all features including build quality, usability, security and performance. Only the cable length is a bit short, which isn't a problem for me, but I think it's good for safety.A long cord can result in accidentally knocking over the jug of hot water, which is possible if it unknowingly gets tangled in your feet.

I would recommend everyone to buy this amazing kettle. It's just doesn't look pretty, it's very easy to use, value for money and as a very good build quality.

This was a replacement for the exact same model we'd had for 2 years. We wanted to stick with the same company as made in UK and it looks stylish and matches other items in our kitchen. All fast boiling kettles are noisier than traditional kettles so that's not a problem for us, we just go out of the room if we're on our phone. It's nowhere near as noisy as the bean to cup coffee machine..... We are 100% happy with it and will buy again and again .

Needed a new kettle and decided to buy a metal one, as better for the environment. Love the design and the copper colour. It is not that noisy when boiling and definitely does not sound like a plane taking off. Would recommend for sure.

I'm not referring to a popular beat combo m'lud but to kettle users who are both Deaf and lefthanded - the Haden Boston is beautifully designed except for the fact that the indicator light is on just one side and invisible to those who lift the kettle with the left hand. So deaf left handers have no way of knowing when the kettle has boiled. (The Russell Hobbs pyramid kettle this is replacing has a large blue light on the back, for reference.)On the plus side, the reports from other customers on its noisy boiling are less relevant for 50% of this household...We're going to keep this kettle because it's a great design at a good price but next time we'll make sure to buy a kettle where the indicator light is on the back.

Found kettle to be quite lightweight & stylish. Boils quickly & relatively quietly.So far so good & serves our needs as an all round domestic kettle.

Very good kettle. Quick to boil. Would recommend filling via the spout as it is a lot easier to do. Was a replacement for our Morphy Richards and turned out to be a very reliable replacement.
