W7 COVER UP ROOT CAMOUFLAGE KIT 3.5g - LIGHT BROWN

I have been purchasing a well known expensive version of this for 2 years now and been happy with it (my tip is go darker than your shade, e.g. if dark brown go for black if you have grey hair) so had my doubts when I read this in good housekeeping's reviews, especially due to the price. But I have to say I have bought it again and saved myself a lot of money. You get a lot more than in the competitor product (which is over £20) and does the same job of coverage. I have noticed that you get a bit more loose powder with this than the other brand I used but I just make sure I swipe the brush over the loose powder to use rather than just the firm shadow and then you don't waste anything.I have a lot of grey hair so I start with my parting and do the partings either side of this so that grey doesn't show through and that seems to do the job. I use it for a couple of weeks until I can get to the hairdressers. Advantage over sprays, cover crayons etc is that it doesn't feel sticky and matify your hair where you've applied it. You are basically applying a hair form of eye shadow.You do get it on your hairline and fingers but it wipes off with a tissue and washes out if you wash your hair well.Just be careful if you're wearing a pale hat as it will rub off onto this a little around the hairline (if you've put the product there obviously). But this easily washes out.My tip is if you keep it in your toiletry bag (as I do) then keep it in a sandwich bag as sometimes you get a little of the powder on the outside of the box as you put it away (same with expensive one) which then goes on other items but the bag stops this happening.

love love this item hair black have grey hairs pop up after a few weeks need to cover them look awful on black hair , however i bought this powder in black it worked like a treat until i get to the hairdresser next week or more if i want. now i used it and covered well have to build it up in hair ,comes off on fingers and nails if you put your hand through hair, comes right out when you wash your hair and there is no awful smell about it. I used it and no reaction at first but when i was asleep the powder must got on my face from the pillow and my face was itchy in the morning with red bloches, i then put on a clear shower cap on my head at night for bed and covered my head perfect no irritation on skin has worked for me ,just could not do without this item really like it.I have used other stuff before like the colour stick which was too waxy and mascara that was too stiff etc Must buy folks this is a good item thank you for the company that made this.

Asian with black hair, I bought this because I was frankly tired of constantly dying my hair...I was pleasantly surprised that it actually works!The reason I gave it 4 and not 5 stars is because it requires a few coats before you see coverage of grey. I was sceptical how something which resembles eye shadow palette can cover grey but it did...I'll be ordering it again....great value for money

Because there were several comments on here comparing this with other products I decided to carry out my own test. I bought this product, a cheap black eyeshadow and ordered the more pricey product available on a well known shopping channel.This product compared very favourably compared to the eyeshadow, which needed touching up and also didn't have an appropriate applicator. The eyeshadow was also more expensive!The comparison with the shopping product was interesting. The products are almost identical. The packaging is almost the same and the applicator is in fact identical. They are the same colour black, apply the same and last as long as each other. This product is exactly 10% of the cost of the shopping channel one. I have returned that one and will be buying this product regularly from now on.It does exactly as it claims. It's very convenient to use, covers perfectly well in between colouring and does not rub off on pillow cases. I am Asian so I have black hair but a LOT of grey on my crown but now I need to colour less often.This product is just the job.

Love,Love,Love this product! It arrived quickly and was well packaged. Its so easy to use and covers those unsightly greys so well- and its alot less messy than the sprays you can get, its alot cheaper too, than the same products that are similiar, I have seen in leading chemists. AND it stays on til you next wash your hair. I was a bit aprehensive about the match of colour to my own hair(which is coloured anyway!) But I needn't of worried as it blended in perfectly. To my mind as well, this is very cost effective too, in that this means you dont have to keep colouring your hair out of a box too often. Which is a bonus! I will definitely get another one when this one runs out . But there is so much product in there, I dont think I will be doing that for a while. Thankyou!!

Great adhesion - good temporary fix - i use the black on dark brown hair covers them pesky greys that come through on ur sideburns till u can be bothered getting the home dye out. Can make it stretch to an extra fortnight between colourings which is good. Did itch a bit when i first use it but that was down to technique. Too much directly on scalp and not enuff on hair which needs to be lifted and bruhed on. Will survive a light shower with no drips on forehead too! Looks like the product could last about two months of daily use easily on my roots. Great value for money - buying one for my mum too!

Speedy delivery. thank you Amazon.For the price paid this product is OK it’s easy to use but don’t think the coverage is as good as original WOW product, I purchased medium brown and it’s too dark for my coverage. This one doesn’t cover too well for me my hair is dark brown and I have ash blonde highlights in my fringe. I found I have to apply it a few times to get good coverage. Just wanted to try it, to try and save some money as it will help between colourings. I purchased two as a backup.I hope this was helpful.
