None are remotely required, it's a hex key that you'll be using, and it is not supplied! There are quite a few parts, but it all went together very easily, and the instruction pictures and parts labelling are good, didn't take long at all to do. It does hold a lot of stuff. Good value for money, although it was on sale for £10 less than full price. I won't be moving it much, but it is helpful to have the wheels, and they seem to work smoothly and easily. Our trolley is used for art materials (pens, paints, papers, sponges etc) and is really good for this purpose. Good capacity and fits brilliantly in a small space between a desk and bookcase. Ours doesn't really get moved around, so I can't comment on mobility, but it seems sturdy enough, and definitely good value for money.
