Best 8" Woofer for your money!
This little guy thumps... I have it wired to a 1-ohm load connected to a Skar mono block 800-watt RMS amp... Please note the speaker is 600 watts RMS, and it's always better to have more power from your amp than you need; just turn the gain down... It's pretty incredible how good it sounds in the vented Skar SPL box. I put it under the helm of my boat, and you would think I have two 12's in it. You would be hard-pressed to find a better value for your money.

Impressive 8s
So far they are holding up to daily pounding. They aren't "cheap", but they are good. This is my first set of skar subs. I wasn't sure about them for a long time, but it looks like they have improved. I am impressed. They bang pretty hard for 8's, and they hit the lows so well. I have 2 of them on a 1k rms amp. The build quality of them looks good too. If they fail, I will be back to edit the review.

THEY ARE WORTH IT
I am very very pleased with them, I have two 12inch evls on a 1.8cu box on a 2002 single cab ram 1500 and MAN do they bang on a 3k taramps. I bought a 2023 ram 1500 crew cab and found myself building another system thinking Iโd stay stock for once but no. Now look I know they say their box is only compatible with svrโs but INVERSION EXISTS AND WHITE MARKERS EXIST THIS LOOKS AMAZINNGGGG
