My contractor really likes these anti-theft mounts, so I ordered this pack and they work beautifully.Easy to install - for him.There is no obstruction of what is viewed from the camera. I see the full area that is being viewed.

Arrived quickly, works perfectly. This is the same anti-theft mount that Google sells (or sold) with the rechargeable Google Nest Cam.

I purchased these to protect my nest from getting lost during Hurricanes. Easy to install and appears to be quality material.

I like this accessory for my Nest battery cam. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because on the bottom where the screw goes, the plastic on the housing around the threading for the screw to go into was cracked. I had already climbed up my ladder and had taken the camera off the off wall so I didn’t exchange it for a new one without a crack. It still works and serves its purpose. I like knowing that with this on no one can steal my camera or for some reason my camera got bumped it wouldn’t fall to the ground. To sum it all up, I will buy again as I plan to put one on my other camera. Don’t let the crack I had in mine stop you from purchasing, it was def a fluke as I couldn’t find anyone else commenting they had that issue.

Small camera - so easy to install - just two screws to attach base. Great videos both day and night. Have had them up for 3 weeks now and still show about three months before needing to charge batteries. Installed one in front on porch (so can see door and driveway) and one in back. Angle is wide enough to cover exactly what was needed. MUST also purchase anti theft mount if installing in front - camera is attached only magnetically and can be easily removed from base if it is low enough to be reached. Works with Google Home for notification of activity. It has provided enough video and history as is, so have not paid any fees to have more video time. So far, it has proven to be exactly what we needed, and we are so glad we did not go with a security company who wanted to charge a great deal more to install and monitor cameras. We easily monitor these cameras ourselves - and - we can speak to person remotely if needed. So far, so good!

It isnt fool proof but not an easy thing to disengage! Highly recommend this.!

Works as advertised

As reported all over the internet, the shroud on the top of this mount creates interference of the IR sensors on the camera, making night vision almost useless. They added a black vinyl sticker to cover the underside of the shroud, but it still interferes. I trusted that they solved the problem, but they didn't and probably have a warehouse full of these they need to unload.Installation is annoying, especially when on a roof, or ladder. You get a tiny screw that you better not drop as you feed it through the housing, the cable, and back into the housing. As for theft, the wire can be cut with any pair of cutters. This is an anti-drop mount, not anti-theft.I should have returned it and bought a cable, but I took a saw to it after one night and cut the hood off. Problem solved.It is sad that this company is misleading so many consumers about this product. If you do buy this, cut the hood off, it's the only way the camera will work as designed. Or, just buy any of a dozen anti-drop cables.

Because Google inexplicably decided to make Nest cameras magnet-mounted (thus, easy to just grab and run away with), this was a must-purchase. Easy to put on. No issues. And my camera remains where I put it!

it's a little fidly, and i can't imagine it works any better than the wire that's already included with the google camera.they only send 1 security key and if you lose the security key you'll have to buy a full new set because they do not sell the security key individually, or have any way at all to replace them even when you can prove you've bought it. really bizarre to me.
