Very pleased that such a simple and small solution
These are smaller than the impression of the photo however it is neat and fastened to the wall really well. I used this in my son's room and inside the recess of window near the roller blind and has kept it safe and secure so they don't play with it. Very pleased that such a simple and small solution.

ordered this product but received something different
the item that arrived was for the same purpose that it was meant to do so used that item, a bit fiddley tofix to wall but did the job

They don't break.
Bought these after my 3 year old tried to hang himself on our blind cord.I cut the cord and bought these to hold it together and act as a safety measure should he decide to try it again...They don't break.Now, that is great if you don't want them as a safety device.

Easy to fix and look good too
I had ordered these before, was pleased with them, and ordered several more to complete the whole house. The safety boxes are fairly straight-forward to fix (but note fixings are not included) but you will need a masonry drill unless you're attaching to wood or plasterboard. The continuous blind cords, not having a connector, look neat and of course don't come apart should you accidentally tug too hard when operating the blind.

Simple and effective
These boxes work by holding the blind cord and chain so that they are tensioned and not loose. Fitting them should be simple for a competent DIYer. You can also move the round fitting inside the box down notch by notch, so you don't have to mess around getting the tension exactly right prior to fitting it to the wall.
