Product Description The features of this innovative design allow your cat/kitten to catch their food. Cats have a natural instinct to use their paws and capture food. The Tiger Diner helps to encourage their mental and physical stimulation, by bringing out predatory behaviors. This allows them to do what comes natural. Not appreciated by my cat.
Cat refuses to eat from this. He did try at first, and will eat from other designs of slow feeders. I think the main problem is the groove inside the large lip at the bottom. Might work for larger morsels than the dry food he gets. Otherwise, it is robust, easy for the human to fill and clean, and not unattractive on the kitchen floor.

Quality bowl
Very well made and it looks great. My food obsessed cat is very dear but not the brightest so I did worry he would have trouble figuring it out. At first he did try sticking his face in the top hole, but once we showed him how to pull a piece from the sides he took to it quickly. The only problem is he's taken to it a bit too well; it does slow his eating vs from a regular bowl, but he's still managing to clear it in under 10 minutes going after each piece in a very methodical fashion. I think he enjoys the added challenge but he still whines for more when he's finished. I am pleased with the purchase.

They both picked this up very quickly and are still coming up with new tactics on how best to use their paws
Arrived quickly and is very effective at slowing our two down (we have a burmese and cornish rex). They both picked this up very quickly and are still coming up with new tactics on how best to use their paws. The number of holes in the bowl mean both can be making grabs at once. Our cats have no finese so the biscuits do sometimes go flying out of the bowl and across the floor (to be quickly hoovered up). Our two can also move it around in their efforts to get the food, despite it being placed on a silicone mat.Only reason I haven't given this 5 stars is that at £19.99 I do feel it's a bit pricey.

Couldn't be happier!
I got this relatively expensive bowl to prevent our cat eating too fast and throwing up. And boy I'm glad I did. It worked much better than expected. It solved other issues we didn't think it would. He stopped begging for food, because his portions last much longer due to feeding taking longer time. And he seems to appreciate the stimulation a lot, because he is much calmer after starting with this bowl.He also had a chronic problem of licking his fur off from time to time and we had to treat him with cortisone, I suppose it must be the extra stimulation the bowl provides because he doesn't go overboard with licking any more. Highly recommended bowl!

Intelligent purchase
My two very greedy British Shorthair cats, renowned for their scavenging, who are masters of stealing food, took seconds to work out how to extract their biscuits, but rather than demolishing their meal in moments as they usually do, were kept actively pawing for 15-20 minutes til every last biscuit obtained and devoured! And dare I suggest, seemed more satisfied thereafter? Superb product for intelligent gannets.
