10 X MAXELL DIGITAL AUDIO CD-RW MUSIC CD'S REWRITABLE

Excellent product. I’ve just had my Nakamichi cassette deck repaired and serviced back to original specs. so back to ‘as new’ performance. I have a lot of cassettes made of concerts I performed in, mainly in the superb acoustics of the Holywell music room in Oxford. I used metal tape type mainly and Dolby ‘B’ noise reduction. I do not like Dolby ‘C’ as I feel it messed up the stereo image depth. I am backing up the cassettes to these rewritable discs so I can redo any transfers that are not perfect. Note that they are ‘Music’ or sometimes called ‘Audio’ discs which my Marantz stand-alone CD writer needs to work, presumably to provide a small fee to compensate for copying copyright recordings made digitally - something I am not doing, as I am copying analogue originals with myself and musician friends performing live. Also the final discs discs will ONLY PLAY.on CD players designed to play ‘finalised’ RW discs, and they do not play on my other CD players, unlike cheaper, ‘write-once’ blank CD-R discs, where any problems in transfers results in a wasted disc. In my case, I have lost the remote control needed to enter track numbers during transfer and I have ordered a replacement from Czechoslovakia and don’t know when this will arrive. The automatic track indexing is unreliable from an analogue source so the rewritable disc allows a repeat attempt if the track indexing is wrong.

These discs are supposed to work in standalone audio CD recorders....well they don't. I also tried using a laptop and also without success. I had to return to Amazon and have requested a refund. I tried using THREE discs (2 from one box of 10 discs and 1 from a second box of 10 discs)....none of them would allow me to record using a Pioneer CD recorder. Having tried 3 out of 30 discs purchased, I returned them all to Amazon for a full refund. Very disappointed that these Maxell CD-RW discs did not work. I believe that the CD (consumer) audio standard requires that the blank discs audio cd discs need to be encoded with a special "CODEC" code which enables the CD recorder to recognise the blank discs and that the CODEC is either missing or incorrect on these discs. This would explain why the CD recorder displays "Check Disc" error message. There are no faults with my equipment as other (TDK) blank discs work perfectly every time over and over again.

Have always used this brand and have never had a problem.

Needed some Audio rewritable discs for my audio CD writer for when I do my DJ mixes or mixes for an entertainer I work with, but 2 of the discs are faulty and "jitter" when played back, so technically are useless. Now do I return the whole pack, or ask for the replacement of 2 discs? Lets hope the rest of the pack is OK.

To record vinyl for me very good

I ordered a pack of ten of these - used them to record music in both my PC and on my stand alone CD writer/recorder 4 out of the ten discs would not read or record on at all. I suspect the other 6 are the same.Ideally I would like a refund on these - I need these discs for my tuition business and I have used them for many years with no problems before now. I suspect these boxes of ten are a faulty batch so would not want to risk a 2nd box of the same. Refund please.

Pour l'instant, je dis bien pour l'instant, aucun défaut sur ces Maxell. Tout va bien contrairement aux précédents CD-RW de marque Verbatim, inutilisables qui produisent des "blancs" à l'enregistrement, donc des arrêts temporaires voir permanents, ceci même après effacements et réenregistrements !

Colis arrivé à la date prévu. J'ai juste essayé 1 cd il reconnait mon graveur. Avoir si tout le cd fonctionne correctement, je verrai au fur et à mesure.
