OctoPie - A Sweet & Splashy Game

Got this for my 3yo grandson to play when he came to spend a weekend with us. He's a big Octopus fan so that was the weekend theme, crafts, snacks, documentary( this is a very serious 3 yo, he likes his facts) books and games. Fun to play but took a star away as it has so many rules for a child's game or maybe I'm just old. It fit the budget so it worked and played well. He even took it home to " borrow"

The media could not be loaded.  I actually bought this for myself (I'm and adult) after playing it with my niece (who is 4). It's incredible to me how fun this game is for all ages. It's not too serious and you can make it as strategic or as silly as you want. Everyone I have played with was skeptical about it but enjoyed it so much--which was also my experience. It is very well made and all pieces fit back into the box nicely. The price is also so great. You won't be disappointed if you get this for your family and friends!

Very cute graphics design, but the obvious typo in the title (“Splshy”, as seen in the photo). Also, the octopuses are not as cute as the ones in the Amazon product photos. Otherwise, a very fun game that all my kids can get excited about. Came just in time for Pi Day.

This game is fun and different than most that we have. My 5 year old really enjoyed it, but has started quitting when she rolls the flip side on the dice and has nothing to flip. She gets annoyed. She loves games and she doesn’t quit often so this tells me it’s not her favorite game. It’s cute and enjoyable though if everyone cooperates. My 8 year old enjoys as well.

Las reglas son un tanto confusas y complejas para ser un juego para preescolares. Mis hijos perdieron el interés al segundo juego. No es de los favoritos.
