Are the blades sharp enough to cut the skin?

Under normal operation, Wahl Clipper and Trimmer blades set at the factory should not cut the skin. Dropping or the hitting the blades can knock them out of alignment and could result in nicking the skin. Always inspect your blades prior to use.

How are the finishing tools to be used?

Wahl Professional Finishing tools can be used in a variety of ways. Shavers can be used on the neck, face, top of the head, and as a blending tool!

Can human clippers/trimmers be used on animals and vice versa?

Wahl Professional products can be used on animal hair. However, the blades are designed to cut human hair. The best option is to consider one of our professional animal clippers designed specifically for animals.

As good as new

Well, maybe not quite as good as new, but these new clipper blades have made my 8 year old Wahl Super Taper II work beautifully. The installation was easy, but either the blades are slightly smaller than the originals or I need to adjust their location as the original red blade guard doesn't fit as well as it used to. The numbered guides fit well and work as expected. Very pleased with this purchase.

works, requires adjustment

Installed these on stock wall clippers (two bolts) the installation had a lot of slop, included instructions had details on how to place things (the two blades have to align precisely given the slop). Once aligned just crank down on the bolts. Doing this correctly, one time, blades cut very cleanly (better than old blades) without issue. Blades were lightly oiled to prevent rust.
