I did plenty of research and reading when deciding on a pair of adjustable grips/pliers, as I wanted a pair I could rely on again and again and keep for life. I'm glad I chose the Knipex and paid out for quality. Whilst they are not the cheapest set of pliers, their craftsmanship is superb. They are a breeze to use, machined well and I expect them to last a lifetime if cared for properly. The button adjustment is very effective in locking the pliers, yet is easy to use and adjust as necessary. The multi angle jaws provide good grip on a multitude of surfaces and the handles are just right for me. The coating is a thin and very slightly spongy material, than feels comfortable in bare hands and not too big when wearing gloves. I prefer slim handles like this, rather than excessively padded ones as it is easier to get access into tight spaces and it feels easier to transfer turning force. Would definitely buy Knipex again if/when I need another size.

Only buy good quality tools these days and Knipex are up there with the best. Expect them to see me out. Worth paying extra for.

I purchased this for my work tool bag as I’m a mobile engineer there a nice small size nimble and lightweight even, a few of my colleagues have them, they are on the slightly expensive side for being the smaller jaws but you are paying for the reliability of the brand knowing its Knipex, you know its made well, made to work and last, so far, they are comfy in the hands to hold and a nice vibrant colour if you were to drop them to find them easily.

The best pliers I have. I’ve used many different types over the years. These are the best size and excellent quality. I have a few other cobra sizes. These are the best for every day use. The teeth grip like nothing else and never slip. Quick and easy to use. A must for every toolbox

Great product does what it says on the tin, 1st time using knipex I normally use crescent grips from the states for the past 40 odd years, i decided to give them a try its taken me a little time in getting used to pressing the button to adjust them as my other grips I could adjust one handed , there is a good feel to them & dont feel cheap. I will probably buy a larger size soon. All in all a top draw set of grips . Cant find any real fault apart from a little fiddly adjusting the jaw to the desired opening. Well worth the money as I got them reduced .

These are great water pump pliers, the right size for use around the house. The grips have a nice non-slip texture. Knipex is known for its quality tools, but the finish could be a little bit better (the forging is excellent, but the grinding is a bit uneven). Despite this, the insides of the jaws are well made and finished.

I work in the draft beer distribution industry as a draft beer technician and I have used these for years to take apart beer faucets, and couplers and they are fantastic. I highly recommend buying one pair to use for every day tasks, and a second one to use for specialized things.
