You're going to need these
Face it, the design makes the part fail inevitable. The latch is plastic and pulling on the handle releases the latch. My RV came with cracked latches. I gave up on trying to get them to replace them and did it myself. Easy install. Make sure you remove the top trim piece so you can slide the handles off and on. Press on the door a bit with your free hand before pulling the handle and the latch might last a bit longer. These handles definitely have a lifespan.

Great replacement handles
Took a little maneuvering to get it in place. The instructions were not as clear as they could be. Watched a YouTube video which helped. It’s working great!

Haven't installed yet, but look like good quality.

Not bad but brittle like the OEM handles
These handles work good with absolute care when opening the Dometic units. If you give it a yank it will fail and break like the OEM handles.

Not jet black and slightly smaller than original
These handles work great but aren’t really black.They look like a dusty black colour and have a water stained appearance.The handle is slightly smaller than the original handle as well.I put only one on the fridge and didn’t need to do the freezer - now they don’t match.Poor quality looking but work.It’s a bit of work changing these handles out , therefore I’m going to have to leave it for now.If it breaks again, I’ll get different ones from a different company.You have to remove the front decorative panel and top caps to change these out - not a big deal.No instructions come with the handles - you can YouTube videos.My recommendation is that if you order these - check the size and colour before installing.
