I do not think pure Carbon/read
This stuff ended up with anyone who even touched the table it was on getting painful fibers all over in their hands and we all went through a roll of packaging tape to help. I am assuming fiberglass and has been thrown out

Not what was expected
It said wicking, so my husband thought it would work for oil lanterns/stoves... it didn't light at all tried different oils/fuels it didn't work. May work for some other project but not for what my husband was needing.
