Sturdy and Cheap.. A Good combination
Sturdy, Cheap and ready to fill with chisels, spanners or whatever you like. The only negative is the smell.. It takes a while out of the packaging to lose its fake leather/fabric/oil smell.. But once it does.. Its excellent.

Exceeded my expectations.............
I actually bought this tool roll for a slightly different use! With christmas coming I have decided to make a small wooden tool kit for my lovely little 4 year old nephew, nothing to elaborate, just a saw, a spirit level and a set of spanners.Initially I was going to present the items in a tool box, but when looking on Amazon I discovered this Toolzone tool roll and thought it would be more appropriate. On it's arrival I was immediately struck by its size, definitely bigger than I expected (which is a good thing!), with the tool roll its entirety measuring 450mm by 280mm.The twelve internal pockets are various sizes, various widths (w) and depths (d):1. w=65mm (d=122mm)2. w=35mm (d=120mm)3. w=35mm (d=117mm)4. w=35mm (d=113mm)5. w=40mm (d=110mm)6. w=30mm (d=108mm)7. w=20mm (d=106mm)8. w=30mm (d=104mm)9. w=30mm (d=100mm)10. w=30mm (d=98mm11. w=35mm (d=95mm)12. w=35mm (d=90mm)As another reviewer has mentioned there is the option to remove the stitching that seperates the pockets and thus increase their width. The longest tool that could fit in the roll is 260mm.There is an additional 'flap' of material inside that covers the tools and adds that little bit more protection. With regards to the material, the main bulk of the tool roll is made from a pretty good quality hessian and there is then a tougher material stitched around the edges to add to the strength. To finish off the tool roll there are two strips of material stitched to the edge, 280mm by 25mm, that are used to tie the roll shut when it is folded up; I personally found these straps to be the only disappointing feature of this product, I would have preferred them to be of a stronger material and perhaps with some sort of velcro fastening (thus four stars instead of five).Overall however I am really pleased with this product, yes there are better tool rolls available on the market with more options to store the contents, but the price you pay is relative. This Toolzone tool roll cost me £3.30 delivered and as far as I am concerned it represents excellent value for money.Just as a side note I would like to say that I purchased my Toolzone tool roll from the MarketPlace seller 'Grendle Enterprises', I don't normally mention who I bought the item from in my reviews (because it is a 'product review'), but on this ocassion I have been particularly impressed with the service and would like to let others know. The item was ordered on the Sunday night, it arrived Tuesday mid-morning by first class Parcel Force courier delivery, remarkable service when you consider the delivery was free!

Decent...but a bit small
Quality of the tool roll is good, decent thickness material. My main gripe is that it's not particularly big, so I can't fit all of my spanners in it. The only thing stopping me purchasing another one, is there is no colour choice options.

Cheap and cheerful
Yes it’s not the best in the world and it may not last forever but I just needed something to put all my drill bits in where I could find them in one place. I’m not going to be throwing it in and out of a tool box, it’s going to sit on a shelf for most of its life. To that end it will be fine. It could be used for drill bits, saw blades, drivers, spanner’s or anything which can drop into one of its pockets. For the money it’s great

Not great for spanners.
Not great for spanners.I was hoping to fit my loose spanners into this, but for this purpose the pocket sizes are wrong, and all the same size. Larger spanners over about 16mm wouldn't fit.In the end I found a better quality spanner roll complete with a full set of spanners for under 20 quid, and they were better spanners than the ones I had.

It does a good job if you know what you're buying
It's a robust canvas tool roll that does the job. I'm happy with it and have posted a photo of mine with the leather/wood tools that I keep in mine and a 30 cm rule for scale. Some of the reviews have criticized this for the size of the pockets. To be fair the description does give you the overall dimensions and tells you that there are 12 pockets. In the original product picture you can see that they get smaller so should have a reasonable estimate of the sizes. I did and wasn't disappointed. For those that have to know the exact dimensions, lest they be disappointed. These dimensions are nearly the same as the ones posted by IOWBOY, but his depth included the bottom seam. That is 10mm of space that you cant actually use.1. w = 65mm (d = 112mm) this pocket is a little baggier than the others and will accommodate a slightly bigger tool2. w = 35mm (d = 110mm)3. w = 35mm (d = 107mm)4. w = 35mm (d = 103mm)5. w = 40mm (d = 100mm)6. w = 30mm (d = 98mm)7. w = 20mm (d = 96mm)8. w = 30mm (d = 94mm)9. w = 30mm (d = 90mm)10. w = 30mm (d = 88mm11. w = 35mm (d = 85mm)12. w = 35mm (d = 80mm)Other than the dimensions not being quite what you wanted, I'm not sure what you could complain about.

It ripped on first use. Flimsy, thin, useless for tools.
I think if this bag was made of a different material, constructed differently and was designed well...if it wasn't made of very thin cloth and stitched badly with incredibly poor quality thread...if the pockets to put tools in were in any way adequate...if all these things happened it would be as described and be in use right now. Unfortunately it is quite possibly the lowest quality item I've bought in quite some time. It certainly looks like a canvas tool roll from a distance. If you need something that looks like the thing you want but don't need to use it ever then this is probably ideal. If you a basically short of stuff to throw in your bin then go ahead and get yourself one of these. It rips really brilliantly without any effort so if you want something to rip apart without having to try then again this would be ideal for you.
