It came today and its sooooooo much nicer than in the pic. The front panel with the picture on is glossed, which gives it a beautiful finish. Very sturdy and so easy to put together. The lid comes completely off and just sits on top, which is much better than the hinged toy boxes we've had before that split the wood when the lids get pushed too far back. Would highly recommend.

This looks great and my son loves pointing to the gruffalo and the mouse. Assembly was straightforward and it is quite sturdy, we are very pleased with it.

Was delivered on time and it was easy to assemble.Looks just like the pic and holds the majority of our toddlers toys.Also just the right height for him to put toys in and ut of.

Delivered as a (heavy) flat pack but assembled with ease. Very good quality.Particularly impressed with the lid which lifts right off, eliminating the risk of it slamming down on little fingers.Child was delighted with the toy box, as was I. Thank you.

It's a nice little toybox and my little boy loves it.Unfortunately I damaged mine whilst building it. The timber is so thin that the fixings just cut right through it, resulting in two of them splitting the timber - which is very thin. The other items in the range use a thicker MDF than this does and by the time I built this one I was perhaps a little too enthusastic with the screwdriver. I didn't realise until it was too late that I wasn't tightening any more. I had to repair mine in two places, so please be careful.

Beautiful toy box. Sturdy and a great size for having a few toys in the living room. Easy to put together too.

This is a great product although I have hand tightened two screws and the wood has splintered at the back. Not as strong as I thought it would be, so good for show but practically not that great considering how much money it is.

Gruffalo toy box really well made with safe edges. Beautiful painting on the box. Easy to assemble and sturdy.Grandson loved it
