This has scored 5 stars because:It's attractive - lovely illustrations, educational - 4 seasons (clothes you wear, food you eat, scenes in nature etc) popular - my 15 month old daughter chooses it everyday and sturdy yet safe - I was looking at wooden ones but re-considered as it's inevitably going to collapse and in that process potentially fall onto my daughter, sturdy cardboard (thicker than a shoe-box) is good. It's a classic toy, tried and tested and also provides the child with an opportunity to self-correct and use fine and gross motor skills. My only slight niggle is that the paper coating with the illustrations on which wraps around the boxes, looks like it may begin to peel off with wear and tear, or be easily peeled off by the child. But other that that, really great toy, very pleased with it!

I bought this for my baby niece and I am saving it to give to her for Christmas so I can't judge durability yet. The pictures are bright and eye catching. I thought the cylindrical shape would be good as there are no sharp corners to catch her when she knocks the pyramid down. I had thought it was made of plastic so was slightly disappointed when it arrived and I realised it is made of cardboard however it does clearly state the material on the website so that was my oversight. I still think it is good and I bought it at a good price, there were other Janod designs that seemed much more expensive and if they are also made of cardboard then in my opinion they are too expensive. I like that it comes in a box with a handle to keep it safe when tidied away. Just hope it is long lasting and strong enough to survive my niece!

These are carton blocks so I am not sure how long they will last. For the moment they look beautiful and whole. They could be arranged vertically as a tower, horizontally there is a little story about the seasons and you could fit them inside of each other.

My boy put water in them and they broke down so not very durable and also they are not cubed so a boy almost 2 yrs needs to figure out that one side of each cube is just empty and so can’t be stacked

They are very sturdy and durable. My little one has them for 6 months and plays with them on a daily basis. Sometimes she even sits on the large ones and they are still in very good condition

Sooo beautiful. I bought this a bit early (8 months), could not give it to my baby yet, because he would chew it to pieces, but it is absolutely gorgeous, so I just surround him with them while we are playing. He is only allowed to look for now :)

We love these blocks! There are so many things to do with them besides stacking, like pointing things out in the pictures, learning about seasons, putting things in and out of the boxes, lining them up to make up a story. Lovely product.

They do look beautiful but hmmm... perhaps I need to re-read the description before I buy next time as they are literally made from cardboard so not durable at all. My 15 month old has already chewed the corner off one of them on the second go. For display only, or perhaps slightly older children.

Ho acquistatao questo gioco per mio figlio quando aveva un anno; adesso ne ha quasi 3 e continua a giocarci. La cosa buona di questo prodotto è che si presta a diversi utilizzi che si cambiano via via che il bambino cresce: i più piccoli imparano a inserire il cubo più piccolo in quello più grande, mentre i più grandi possono costruire la torre o più torri impilando i vari elementi (fino a un'altezza massima di poco meno di 90 cm) cercando di fargli mantenere l'equilibrio.Dopo due anni di utilizzo abbastanza frequente ovviamente mostra segni di usura (è costruito in cartone), ma dire che è il minimo e in ogni caso i segni dell'usura non compromettono l'utilizzo dato che i vari elementi mantengono la propria stabilità.I disegni sono gradevoli e sono presenti diversi personaggi, cosa che permette anche di imparare e richiamare via via i nomi degli animali.Assolutamente consigliato a tutti i bambini, ottimo anche come idea regalo.

Wir haben diesen Stapelturm vor 3 Jahren geschenkt bekommen und ich habe ihn nun zu Weihnachten neu gekauft und einem Kind geschenkt. Es ist ein sehr hochwertiges Spielzeug, das für meine Kinder ab ca 1 Jahr interessant war, beide Kinder spielen immer noch damit (jetzt 2 und 4 Jahre alt). Die runde Form ist viel schöner und toller zu bespielen als die eckige.

Mi hija está encantada con el, tiene 2 años y es incluso más alto que ella. Le encanta montar y desmontar.

Buen producto. Da mucho juego. Colores e imágenes muy bonitas. Fue un regalo y les encantó.
