Cooler Works great
The quality of this cooler is well worth the cost. It fit my Chevy 3500 camper van perfect. It was easy to install, it looks good and it didn't leak. Will buy from again

Dropped the transmission temperature by 30F
Installed this in a Ford Econoline E350 which we've started occasionally using to tow a 30 foot camper. The Transmission temperature would quickly climb to 220F when towing slowly, which is right on the edge of a reasonable operating range, with outside temperatures around 75F. When not towing the temperature often reached 210.Installing this dropped the temperature to 190F when not towing, and when towing it would start there and creep slowly up to 200F, even under acceleration. So it's easily worth it.Installation was fairly straightforward, but you'll need to be prepared to bend the brackets and possibly drill holes in your vehicle. This vehicle already had a transmission cooler, and I didn't want to replace it but add to it, so I cut the hose going to that cooler and piped it through this cooler. I then mounted this cooler below the existing cooler. This is a big cooler, and there's plenty of space in the E350, but you might find it a tighter fit on smaller vehicles.Having read the reviews about the poor quality hose that's included, I bought a separate hose and purchased connectors that worked with the hose and this cooler. The hose I received was fairly poor quality, and I could see it being a point of failure in the long run, but I haven't tested it so can't provide any real data on its quality.I was worried about the quality of the cooler, whether it would provide sufficient cooling, and if it did whether it would negatively impact the air conditioning or engine temperature. I'm glad to say my concerns were unfounded, it provides significantly better cooling and doesn't affect the other radiators behind it appreciably.

Cooler is great but do NOT use the supplied hoses!
I installed it this spring to prepare for the towing/camping season. My transmission temps are drastically reduced... Mission accomplished there. The trip I'm on right now was interrupted by a rupture in one of the rubber hoses that came with this kit. Quite frustrating considering they are only a couple months old! Luckily I was able to shorten the line on the side of the road, reconnect and then fill my transmission to get back on the road. Could have been some major transmission damage.

I will update the Mileage stars later
I installed it on a 2007.5 Silverado 2500HD Z71 with a 6.0L. The quality is good. There are quite a few options for connectors and depending how much of a perfectionist you are, the supplied brackets will work It is a bit of a job installing it but depending on your fab skills and how much of a perfectionist you are, it is nice when finished. I used aluminum square tube from the hardware store and bought GM OEM adapters and the DEWHEL 2pcs Brass 397 Transmission Line Fitting Kit Fits for GM 1996 and Later Snap-in Style Lines and it worked great. When it was done, it looked OEM. I bought this one because a lot of fellow Silverado owners bought it and like it. Time will tell but I believe it will work fine. I posted a finished pic and a comparison pic between the factory 2500HD cooler and this one.

So far, loving it!
Installed it this afternoon on my 2001 Suburban 2500 as the stock cooler is horrible. Temp gauge lived at the 200 degree mark no matter the temperature outside (even in the 30's), and without towing anything. After installing this cooler (and today being in the upper 50's) gauge has been between 145-150. Even after getting on it and climbing a few hills, it just hits the 150 mark. I'd say this cooler is legit! Gave the trans 50 degrees of relief:)Will see how it does after some time has gone by.Update since install over a month ago: Still going great (now in April). Have had a few days in the upper 70's and the gauge still just hits the 150 mark, even if getting on it. Looking forward to see how it performs come summer timeπͺπΎ.
