Expensive, but worth the money if you value silence, and all the extras you could possibly need.
I replaced the elderly and noisy fan in my NAS with the Noctura. When I powered up the NAS there was no sound. Upon checking, I found the blades spinning without any detectable sound. The fan also came with a good selection of cables, adaptors and fittings. Well worth the price.

Perfect for the Sega Dreamcast.
I bought this as a replacement fan for my Dreamcast. It was super easy to install (with the Noctua fan kit sold separately) and runs super quiet, unlike the stock Dreamcast fan, which is a noisy little beggar. It was great value for the money and has also increased the airflow through my Dreamcast.

Perfect for Raspberry Pi 3 or 4, and inside 3D printers
Yes, they are VERY expensive, especially when you can buy the same size fan for 2 quid, but you really are getting the best of the best with these fans.Bought a few of these for inside my 3D printer and for my RPI projects. The RPI3 overheats when running home assistant, and this cools the CPU from 60C to 33C when running at 3V3.I have another fitted to the RPI4 and it has dropped the CPU down from 80 to 45C (running at 3V3).Simply connect the red and black wires, don't connect the yellow.I've been using Noctua fans for years and years, and none have ever failed, they are the best or the best.Very quiet at 3V3, also quiet at 5V.**NOTE I BOUGHT THE 5V VERSION! DO NOT RUN AT 12V**

Good stuff but atrociously expensive
Atrociously expensive for a tiny 5v fan. The luxurious gift box easily costs 1/3 of the price we end up paying, something that goes straight to the bin after the fan is installed.Be wary that in order to achieve the lowest noise levels you have to use the included rubber screws/pins as any touch of the fan with a metal surface using the metal screws easily doubles or triples the emitted noise levels!

High performance, low noise, decent connectivity from Noctua as usual
I bought this to cool a passively cooled HBA card being used in a standard PC case for a FreeNAS system. It fits nicely onto the heatsink I had and is very quiet when running, while keeping temperatures down.It comes in the box with a range of connectivity options. It has a number of single-use splice connectors with an epoxy capsule inside (you join your cables then press the connector shut and it seals them) if you prefer not to solder your cables, so you can attach almost any plug to this with almost no tools at all.I connected mine to an unused internal USB header for 5V power and it has been running that way ever since. I don't bother speed controlling it or monitoring the rpm - it just runs all the time from USB bus power.Perfect addition to any passive system or heatsink that could use a little extra cooling help.

Excelente ventilador, tenía un controlador sas que llegaba a 80 grados y con este ventilador muy bien equipado ahora está en 30 sin llegar al 100% de revoluciones y sin ruido.
