Wow! This has worked miracles. One of my cats I adopted and for years he's been a very anxious, stressed and restless cat. He meowed constantly, to an extreme degree day and night, paced the house, windows and surfaces. He would scratch and pull and destroy carpet, particularly outside doors, hated doors to be shut. He also bit and chewed vertical blinds, clawed at clothes hanging in wardrobes, towels and rugs. He was never settled at night. He would be reluctant to have any cuddles too.My other cat I had since a kitten and they would often get into chasing games that went beyond play, could never be near each other - they'd rumble and fight in a playful way but often it went too far. We'd constantly have to keep them apart.He's had the collar in for 3 days now. Within one hour I had a calmer cat, happy to have a nice nap. Since then he has hardly meowed, the pacing has stopped, clawing at carpets has stopped plus all other destructive behaviour. We've had 2 full nights of him sleeping peacefully on the bed with our other cat and not waking us up during the night. He is calm, looks happier and is coming to me for lap cuddles and purring! Surprisingly - my other cat behaves different with him, they can be close to each now with no squabbles and I can see on my cats face that he's just less stressed. For years I tried other things including Feliway spray and plug-ins, distraction toys and more. This simply works!It does have a strong smell which is a bit unpleasant however it wears off after a few days. It's the smell of Valerian so smells a bit like some human herbal tablets in a bottle. It's day 3 now and the smell has faded and will even more. It's worth it to get the result. He's tolerated the collar. I cut the extra length off with scissors. It states on the packet that it does have a safety catch release if the collar gets caught on anything. Mine are indoor cats.I can't recommend giving this a try enough if you have an anxious, stressed or angry cat. If you have more than one cat and there is tension or if your cat does naughty things or meows beyond the normal levels. Great for a nervous trip to the vet or cattery also. I'm stunned this has worked so well, I was skeptical but will replace this every 3 months as recommended.Here is a photo of my new happy cat wearing his collar. It's changed life for all of us and I'm loving seeing him calmer.

This product smells so horrendously bad I had to take it off my cat because it seemed so cruel. When my cat did briefly have it on she seemed really distressed and disorientated. It is also very stiff and seemingly uncomfortable for the animals to wear. There are much better calming collars on the market.

Works great for my anxious dog (labrador/spaniel cross) if a bit smelly. Watch out when you unroll the collar as there is a giant staple at the end holding it together

Bought this for my female cat as she has taken a dislike to a new young male. It's difficult to put on as it's so hard and i have arthritis in my hands, and the smell is so strong it set my already bad asthma off.

Bought this for my cat as he is a very anxious and skittish cat, I've bought the treats and tried them and they work great, he was like a different cat and id even go as far to say they helped with his seizures, the only problem being that after a while he would refuse to eat them, so I would cut the sharp corners off and drop them down his throat and gently rub his neck till he swallows them. I bought the collar, home spray and another packet of treats this time as I'm currently in the process of moving out and I want him to have a smooth transition without him being severely stressed and possibly setting of his seizures more violently.The first thing I will say, the collar absolutely stinks, it smells like sports shoes that someone's been using as a sweat bucket. It does ware off after a while, but as someone who's sensitive to offensive smells, I felt nauseous and had a crappy headache for a couple hours. Also if you're sensitive to lavender, I wouldn't recommend. It's not actually lavender but it smells very similar.I haven't really noticed much of a difference in him since he's had it on, he's still very jumpy at sudden noises, and since he sleeps with me on a night I'd say it had more of an affect on me than him, the last few nights have been the best sleep I've had in ages.I'm gonna keep it on him just for the sake of the move and start up the treats again, I'm also gonna be spraying the new place religiously with the home spray and hopefully that works too.Just a side note, I wouldn't recommend for cats that have never worn a collar before especially older cats, if you want to try with kittens, try with a normal collar first till they get used to it and then try the calming collar. I just say that, because it is plastic and they could hurt themselves trying to chew it off.Overall probably won't buy the collar again but will definitely keep buying treats.

Utilisé pour trajet en voiture en supplément de cachet anti-vomissements, je lui met 2 à 3h avant le départ et elle n'a pas l'air vraiment calme, et l'odeur et difficile à supporter, on s'habitue avec le temps....

This product is very dangerous. I used it for my 3 year old cat. and in the 2nd day I realized at once, the collar get stuck in the cat mouth. She was extremely afraid. I had to cut off the collar to let the poor creature survive. I will contact the manufacturer about it.

Mi gata ha tenido problemas de estrés desde que le asustó mi hijo un día sin querer. Desde entonces, de vez en cuando le entra el miedo o estrés y nos maúlla y ataca. Hemos probado de todo- juguetes, premios, hierba de gato etc. Me di por comprar este collar con poca esperanza de que funcionara, la verdad, y con un poco de miedo viendo las fotos de como se les ha quedado el cuello a algunos gatos.Ante todo, debería decir que al abrirlo desprende un olor horrible, que cuando tocas el collar se queda impregnado en las manos. Es bastante largo, así que hay que cortarle el sobrante, y como es bastante duro, es complicado meter el final dentro de la hebilla. Pero se lo pusimos, y al momento, se le notaba más tranquila.Ahora lleva casi una semana con el collar puesto, y nos hemos acostumbrado al olor. Ya no es tan fuerte ni tan desagradable, pero lo más importante, ni parece que le esté molestando, ni ha tenido problemas con el pelo o piel del cuello (cosa que he estado muy pendiente por si pasara), y es como tener otra gata. De momento no ha habido ningún ataque, es más cariñosa que nunca, y sobretodo ha permitido que mi hijo se le puede volver a acercar sin miedo- cosa que no tiene precio.Si cuando se le acabe el efecto de este collar, su comportamiento vuelve a ser como antes, sin problema vuelvo a comprar este producto, porque aunque entiendo que para todos no será igual, para mi gata ha sido una cosa milagrosa, y cualquier desventaja que puede haber es insignificante comparado con las ventajas que nos ha proporcionado.

Smells so strong made the whole house smell.Had on 1 day & 1 night my dog would not eat while wearing this collar.Removed collar and my dog was eating in a cupple of minutes.I had to throw it out.Could smell where the collar was on the dog after removel for a few days it's that strong.I Don't recommend this collar!
