Works fine on my 650
While this is advertised as an accessory for scooters, it works a treat on my Kawasaki 650. Although the screen is tilted slightly, due to the angle of the mirror stem, it remains visible, even in bright sunlight, and through a tinted visor. Journey planning on my mobile, where the maps are stored, is simple. The fact that the maps are stored on my phone has little effect on the phone battery life. for a fraction of the cost of a full-on bike satnav, I'd recommend this to anyone. I took a run out a couple of days ago, with route settings set to 'avoid motorways' and discovered routes I'd never guessed at before. With lifetime map updates and live traffic too, it has enough of the features of its big brothers to tempt me away from Google Maps on my phone. Secure fitting, locked solid and safe at 70mph (plus a bit) Oh, and it can be set to display the limit for the road you are on, and warn you if you exceed it. i'm a very happy buyer.

Does the job
Fitted to my motorbike. Works ok and easily connected to my phone. My only slight gripe is I would like a better driving / riding view on the screen when I’m rinding with no route selected. At present you only get a map viewOther than that it does the job

Nice kit, app could be better.
I'm using this on my motorcycle and it's guided me for 700 miles around Ireland. You do have to have a rough idea where you are going though as it's scooter biased software will always take you down little roads. I also almost missed the Dublin ferry because literally it was taking me round in a circle in the grafton area. Although I felt the mounting system was vulnerable it stayed attached all the way even at high speeds. Battery life about 2.5 Hrs. The device itself is nicely designed and easily portable. As others have said the tom tom app is weak which was a surprise. It needs to be more configurable and allow you to stick to main roads. I also have a sh125 and I know this will manage dual carriageways and sections of motorway fine.

Not worth the cost
It seemed like it had so much promis but TomTom have really messed up with this one. It looks great and matches my yellow Vespa brilliantly but seems to lack in every other area. The screen is far too low resalution, it displays a lovely stylised map but it looks like a screen from 10 years ago, too blocky and un responsive (a lot of delay when clicking/tapping).The battery life really bad, 2 hrs at best and the thing doesn't even have its own GPS unit so not only will it be flat when you get to where your going so will your phone. A 45 minute commute left me with only 35% battery on a iPhone 6s Plus and 40% on the Vio. So unless you can charge it and your phone everywhere you go you might be left up a river without a paddle. (Using google maps on your phone with motorways turned off will use far less battery)My next issue is that it regularly drops its connection from its paired phone, I've used it roughly 12 times and I think it's done it everytime. It just means that you suddenly have no directions and need to pull over get your phone out reopen the app, tell it where your going again and then set off once again. Annoying to say the least...My final issue with this device is the cost, £130 for a tiny low resalution screen that can't be used on its own, has rubbish battery life and drops its connection all the time. It would be far more reliable to just get a waterproof case for your phone and mount it on the bike.

Must have accessory
Lovely little device colour matched to my Vespa, just enter a postcode and no worries about getting lost on the way or which route to take, I just keep it on avoid motorways. Only weakness is the battery life – it doesn't drain my iPhone battery but the Vio only lasts a couple of hours so for really long journeys it's best to leave it turned off until you're out of the area you know well. If they released a version which could stay charged twice as long I'd upgrade without hesitation. The low resolution is kind of cute but I don't even notice that when I'm riding, only when I'm stationary looking at it up close.

Excellent apart from having to run an app on my phone. Means I can't use waze at the same time. Still a great product tho. Would be good if it showed shops and more road signs like waze but to be fair Tom Tom's verbal directions are more accurate.

Does exactly as it say's it does.
Can't fault it. Easy to use and looks good too. Nice clear screen. Only downside it used it with mob on charge in scooter's charging dock and phone did get rather hot. Had to have it charging as it was a 5 1/2 journey.

I absolutely love it, now it replaced my regular satnav in the car so I don't have to maintain two address books. Four stars only because on the screen you get the estimated time of arrival only. The developers forgot to put on the screen distance to go, current time and battery status. Fortunately, it's being in constant development and hopefully in near future the update will bring much needed info.
