Honestly, the mic attachment itself works quite well! Sounds great, locks in well. It performs that function. But like… what is it for? Haha it doesn’t really do anything besides be a cute novelty. I think maybe I’ve seen people attach it to instruments, like acoustic guitars! But… idk its cool, just not very functional.

UPDATE: Received my second set, and of course, they are excellent. Can't say enough about them! Surely the best kept secret in lav mics! The sound brings fullness to my DJI Mic 2 and my Rode wireless Pro. These actually can out do the plug in lav micII that comes with the Rode wireless pro bundle. I'm just grateful to have found these. The price? They are literally GIVING THESE AWAY. It could without a doubt be priced 10x higher. I'm buying 2 more now before they run out.

Great sounding mic. I got it initially for a replacement as a headset mic. It would not fit with the black locking mechanism. If I could somehow get this exact same mic without that it would be perfect. I tried getting it off, with some help, and the helper ended up messing up the TRS connector so now it won't work at all. That's not the companies fault. It's mine for letting someone else try to remove the black lock mechanism for me. I am bummed that it no longer works due to that.

Good length. Good value. Recorded talking and it worked great with good quality. Definitely recommend

Was trying to minimize wind noise on my handlebar mounted 360x3 camera that I use on my Goldwing Motorcycle. I put a furry sock on it and then It did a great job of eliminating the wind to the point I can hear the bike motor and voice. The gain on this mic is drastically lower than the cameras built in mic. The mic plug has a captured threaded collar that bounces around loosely and makes excessive background noise so I suggest cutting it off for all you riders out there in a similar situation. So far it's a winner without having to go wireless. Since it mounts to the side and bends sideways It does appear in 360 videos.

The three gooseneck mics I received came in generic white packaging, and the locking 3.5mm connector is no longer silver metal…it’s now black plastic and has no threads, so it spins freely and doesn’t lock. Movo got in touch with me, but instead of acknowledging factory defect, they blamed my industry standard Tentacle Track-E and Sennheiser AVX are incompatible. I will donate these mics to some students, since they are not as advertised, and of no use to me.

I purchased this item to use in my helmet for moto vlogging, mic works just fine and does that it says on the description however in my case at 50mph and higher speeds mic causes cracking sounds which is a shame. If your purpose of use is for moto vlogging then avoid it.

Erst mal vorweg: Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist globalgalaktisch gut (Daumen hoch!) Die Tonqualität ist herausragend und wenn man DerGerät an ein DJI-Mic2 steckt, hat man tatsächlich das Phänomen, dass man in der RØDE-Liga mitspielen kann. Das ist schlicht und einfach geil! Das Handling bringt jedoch gewisse Tücken mit sich. Durch die Bauform ist die Benutzung des DJI-Magnethalters sehr extravagant. Ebenso bei Benutzung des Klammerhalters an Kleidungsstücken. Wenn man sich vorher in einen Brainstorming Gedanken macht, ist es bestimmt möglich den idealen Einsatz heraus zu finden. Hier ist Kreativität gefragt....

I had to return it, the sound was muffled. Also the TRS connector seemed just short enough to not connect properly on some equipment.
