TotsBots 16L Nappy Bucket for Use with TotsBots Reusable Nappies

I was a little dubious about whether any bucket could be worth spending this amount of money on but now I have received the tots bots nappy bucket I have to say it's well worth the extra money.The bucket is very good quality and well designed. Most importantly the lid fits well with the 4 clasps but is still quick to open.I also bought the tots bots mesh laundry liners which make the transfer to the washing machine very easy.As an added bonus I realised when my bucket arrived just before Christmas that it was perfect for me to prepare my Christmas Turkey ( using Nigella's recipe where you soak it first in a bucket of brine.) !!So, in summary this is a great purchase if you are planning to wash lots of nappies or soak a Christmas Turkey! :-)

Easy to use, good size (once full it's a good reminder to wash the nappies!), solid, secure and holds smell in sufficiently, looks nice enough.Recommend using with a washable bag which can be bunged in washing machine containing the nappies, so you don't need to touch them again once in the bucket!

Hi there, I’m happy with the bucket overall, a good size and quality but I think it might be missing the rubber seal around the edge of the lid? There is a slot which looks like there should be a rubber seal in it but nothing is there and consequently the lid doesn’t lock very well. I have been unable to find the sellers details to contact them so please can the seller contact me if you see this review.Many thanks

The bin feels sturdy, thick plastic. I've only had it a few days but no smells have escaped which is excellent. My only gripe is the clips on the lid which won't clip shut near the handle. It just means you have to think about how the lid is orientated.

pleased with this, the locking mechanism is really effective, no chance of spills. Pleasantly surprised, item much sturdier and also bigger than expected.

Great size nappy bucket for washing every other day. We use a mix of AIOs, pockets and 2 partners and they fit in the bucket easily. All smells are contained.

I use this as a bucket with the Tots Bots mesh bag to wet-store baby stained items until wash day.It is great for this purpose because the lid clips securely in place but is easy for an adult to take on and off (unlike some other buckets where the lid is either loose - not great when moving the bucket around the house to the washing machine, or where the lid is too tightly fitted and difficult to get off when you are holding soiled items).My baby is not moving yet so haven't directly experienced it, but I imagine the lid will be difficult for her to remove when she starts getting too in inquisitive!This bucket will also be useful for years to come for stained items - it's not just babies that stain their clothes!I guess it may not be so useful if you just want an easy to use bin for disposable nappies - in that case un-clipping the lid may be a pain. In that case you may be better off with a swing lid?
