Draper52416 PTGS Expert Telescopic Gauge Set, 6 Pieces , Blue

Not the best Quality, picture looks to be greater quality than in reality but should prove to be useful but do not expect a precision tool.I will be returning mine for something that will provide more accuracy as this has 2 spring loaded plungers that are a little sticky but for a rough dimension these should provide sufficient.

just none scaled gauge set still need to measureacross the gauge with micrometerthe advert did not state that the gauges did not have a scale to read

Cost effective way of obtaining expensive tool. Can fiddley but that the natural of the tool.

Pretty difficult to get repeat accuracy but ok if you only need to measure up to 0.005" tolerance.

For the price I paid for this, it's been invaluable! Had to repair one of the gauges but had plenty of use in harsh conditions. Would buy again if I need too!

I bought these elsewhere. But what can you say they are peenuts for what they are. They are not nicely made and are very crude but they work faultlessly if you know how to use them. Backed up with a good mic you can get very accurate results.The only thing I will eventually do is the sizes I use most make my own barrells/pins so they are more pleasing to use but won't make them any more accurate.I love them for the price just don't let anyone hold them they will feel sickThey are as accurate as the user is capable of.
