I was changing from a Samsung to Pixel and expected a smooth transition. I am writing this on behalf of Support at Google. Do not expect to find an operating manual anywhere. You can find the information on the internet but not intuitively. There was apparently supposed to be a quick start manual but that was not in the box. Turning on the device was intuitive. Press the power button. But there is a combination of buttons necessary to turn it off. Try figuring that out without a manual. I cannot believe that a company the size of Google won't at least put a pdf copy on the Pixel site but it is not there. This is per multiple emails from Google support. I am happy with the phone, just not with the decision not to publish and make a manual available.

Great phone. No problems or issues with phone itself, apps or files. One thing to note is that this phone will only download and play 64 bit apps. As a lot of apps in the Google Playstore are currently 32 bit apps these are unavailable for download or use on this phone. Some apps are both 32 bit and 64 bit and can play on this or any phone. If you try to download an app that is 32 bit instead of 64 bit you'll get an error that says, "doesn't work on your phone, is incompatible with your phone or just not downloaded". Guessing this might be in anticipation of Google making all apps available on the Playstore 64 bit apps and getting rid of 32 bit ones in the future. Developers will either have to update their apps to 64 bit or have their app removed from the Playstore.

So far so good. I replaced my Pixel 3XL with the 7 Pro 512GB to get more storage, battery life and security updates. Performance is good and the intelligent charging will hopefully have ve me long battery life. I can go all day with heavy usage and still have 30-50% left.

I don't like the Finger print on the screen, Google assistant when u push the power button, (shut off menu on the top menu not great,i figured out with the two buttons )Battery only last about 8 hours. Besides that, it's a great phone, I like plain android,I will put my apps, not Samsung apps,lg apps, att, TMO, Verizon apps. None of that crap..

7 series is fantastic and all the smart tools that Google added to this series are great. There are million reviews out there so I would just say everything is great but still think battery life could be improved.
