Don't waste your money
Difficult to fit, rubbish instructions, no manufacturers details to be able to contact for assistance, very slow water pressure, even at hottest not very hot, and water always tastes funny frommthis tap almost like sea water must be something to do with the tank or filter. After a few mo this stopped using the hot tap as it was easier to boil a kettle, after about 6 months the actual tap head broke and the fawcet has come off a few times and squirted water all over the kitchen. Don't waste your money you get what you pay for unfortunately with this product. Spend more on better quality that actually works.

Great bit of kit and high quality materials, great value and does what's expected.
Had mine fitted two days ago and absolutely delighted with it. The boiler has two switches, one to turn the power off and the other to change the temperature. This is a toggle switch, up for 98c and down for 90c. The 98c position is perfect for making tea (and believe me we are fussy). Suggest running boiling water into cup about half full just to warm the cup, throw that away and refill to the brim, then add your tea bag. Leave to infuse for 3 minutes, perfect! To make coffee you could flick the switch down to 90c (as recommended for coffee) but we keep it on the 98c setting as it suits us. We manage to get about a litre+ of boiling water before it starts to cool, so that's probably not enough for a larger family but hey-ho it reheats in minutes. I am also impressed with the "catch all" comprehensive filter as it also filters the cold water as well and is economical to replace at £39 per year. Would have given the DBS 5 stars if it dispensed more than a litre, but still cannot understand why the other reviews are so poor!!.... have I got an improved model or what??.. Jan 2018.

Certainly does not 'Boil' the water. I therefore decided to check the temperature of the water which varied between 85c and 90c depending on whether or not the thermostat had just kicked in. Bearing in mind the price and a true boiling water tap (my daughter has a quooker) costs over three times more IK don't suppose you could expect much more. The actual tap is quite well made.

Poor Quality
Hot water lasted about 6 months, cold water lasted about a year.Poor quality product, spend more and get one that works and it will be cheaper in the long run.
