I have spent 7.5 years as a field electrical engineer and I have driven many many miles, cross country many times. My best record is from Portland Maine to Portland Oregon in 42 straight hours. I say all that to say that I love this phone mount. The suction cup is so good that it will flex the dash plastic. The arm is great for adjustability and the phone holster works very well. The only thing that would be considered a down side is that the base does not rotate. If you use your phone for navigation while driving then you need to get this one. I also own 2 of them in two different vehicles.

Honest review of Pletmin Truck Phone Mount, Heavy Duty Phone Holder for Truck Dashboard Windshield, Compatible with All Smartphone, Commercial Truck Super Suction Cup & Stable(Black) @ $17.96 at time of order.I routinely drive my 2016 F150 pickup. I take good care of it and did not want to mount a cell phone holder onto my dashboard using all of the adhesive crap that comes with some of these types of holder. The textured dashboard is not at all conducive to just using a suction mount. Regular cell phone mounts that suction to the windshield are simply too short to be mounted low enough to see out of my windshield and still be within comfortable reach of my hand with the phone in the mount. I opted to try this mount since it is designed for semi tractors and trucks. This is exactly what I needed; the best I have found so far.But, I believe I received an open box item, or at least that how it arrived to me. This was shipped in a non-padded, large brown mailing envelope with the pull tab to open it. Upon opening the envelope to extract my new phone mount, I found the box and the 2 pieces of the mount separated in the envelope. There was nothing else. No instructions. No alcohol wipes to clean the windshield before suctioning it to the windshield. The pieces were in open plastic bags. I tried reaching out to the seller, but one cannot because of the product being fulfilled by Amazon. Their Amazon Store Front has no contact information either. I wanted to address this with them first. Made in China.Likes:Amazon Prime shipping, returns and replacement available.It is very stable in the locked positions.It extends out far enough for me to suction it to my windshield near the bottom so that I don’t have my view obscured by my phone/mount.The suction cup is huge, making for a more secure mount.The phone holder swivels 360 degress and holds the phone securely.The holder itself is quite phone friendly and is slightly padded.It easily accommodates my iPhone 14 PRO and likely any larger cell phone.It unlocks smoothly too.Dislikes:It appears that I received an open-box product and did not receive all of the contents.There is no way to contact the seller.Mehs:None so far.Hopefully this review helps someone decide about this product.

I purchased for my Mack work truck. It's sturdy and you can place it in different location so it's accessible but still out of the way. Great purchase.**UPDATE**Worked great for 2 months and the item fell off and will not stick and or hold any longer. I have cleaned the the areas still won't hold. It's useless at this time and I'm unable to return.

This is the best mount I’ve ever gotten. You won’t find this at a truck stop. Great quality for the price. It doesn’t budge. When mounted properly on a clean surface. It becomes a part of the Truck. I will buy again in the future because it’s made of plastic after all. Even hard plastic can’t last forever.

I have to keep cleaning the silicone and the windshield to make it stick over a long period of time.
