Surprisingly great knife!
We got this little 5.5 inch "paring" knife to cut up dog treats, as it has a handy sheath and can be safely kept on the counter, freeing up my fine cooking knives for the people food. As an inexpensive knife (on sale from $30 to $15 for Christmas) my expectations were low. The knife turned out to be very well balanced and sharp. Yes, it needs to be cared for properly as any carbon steel knife, but it holds its edge well and can be easily sharpened when needed. The handle is surprisingly comfortable, and the wooden sheath works really well.

Razor sharp and sturdy
I wanted another knife with higher carbon content and some more weight to it. This is perfect. Could slice paper like butter fresh out the box. The higher carbon content means it holds and edge better because it isn't as soft. Be careful on leaving it wet as the carbon means it rusts easier. Clean it immediately after use, and maybe wipe it down with some oil every one in a while (and food grade oil is fine)

Nice knife, rusts easy
The knife feels really nice. It is a little on the thicker side, but the blade seems to be decent quality. I did notice rusting after just a week of use however, but it wasn't much

A beautiful but intimidating knife
Before the pandemic, my wife bought half a cow from one of those share programs. It was delivered during the pandemic and was a lot more meat than you would think. Some of that meat needs a real butcher's knife if you want to be able to get through bone as well, so I did some research and decided to try this one due to it being a full tang and being a reasonable price. It is very sharp and proficient at chopping. I wasn't sure what to expect really with a knife this large, but from the balance to ease of handling, color me impressed. The presentation is not lacking either. There is a hook to hang your knife up, because honestly, what knife block is going to hold this beast? The knife has a hammered finish to it and it has a nice leather sheath for function and presentation. Overall, this is a beautiful but intimidating knife, but my wife loves it, and that's all that matters.

Super nice
Honestly love this knife. For sushi rolls cutting and learning to sharping your knife on a wet stone. I highly recommend. Especially with the sheath that's magnetic. Highly recommend for beginners

Long sharp blade.
Bought this knife as my Nakiri knife was too square at the tip. This blade has a sharp point and a little more curve on the edge. The blade is 9 inch and not ideal for small items. I use paring or small chef knife for those.Steel is very hard. Holds edge and cuts very smoothly. This blade is sharpened to 12 degrees each side and I will need to modify sharpening jig when it needs attention (has not yet).

Extremely sharp!
I had to peel 10 pounds of oranges for Christmas Day. Because of the way the knife is made, I cut myself twice. The knife is not like any paring knife I have ever used before. To peel an orange you must hold the orange in one hand. Then while turning the orange you peel with your other hand. I need to return this knife before I cut my finger off!

Cheap yet sharp and durable.
Been using it for a few months and I've got no real complaint so far.It can be hit against garlic without worry (the handle won't fly off-).it's sharp, it's beautiful, and if you dont forget to wash and dry it after use you won't get rust (as of yet).Only complaint is the occasional wrist pain with prolonged use because it is a small knife.

Bent blade
I don’t understand, how people who sell knives never make sure to check if the knife is straight. The knife is sharp but it can in crooked and bent. Not worth the price
