oh my days... what a pedal this is!
Probably one of, if not the best chorus pedal on the market. If you love all those 80's classic chorus sounds this is the ticket for you. For the CE-2 mode, think about the sounds of the Police, Pretenders, Echo Beach, Bryan Adams, the Cure & all those great riffs from that era & that's a good marker for how this pedal sounds. CE-1 mode takes you off into the more richer realms of chorus with some frighteningly accurate sounds akin to a few famous Metallica riffs.... i'll let you figure the rest out. The 3rd mode, (CE1 Vibrato) with a few twists of the rate & depth you can get some great sounds also. Rate & depth take you from beautifully subtle to some really edgy stuff so there is hours of fun to be had.It works & sounds great with both single coils & humbuckers. Running mine through a Marshall DSL with 4 x 12 cab if your wondering. This is an amazing pedal which i highly recommend to those left wondering if the price tag seems a little steep. I was in this boat, glad i went for it as its worth worth every penny & of course, It's built like a tank as you would expect from Boss.Cheers Boss, you've just created something very special once again!Well happy!

I have had so many choruses over the years: a CE2, Strymon Ola, Tortuga Martini, a TC Electronics SCF and 4-5 others. Have also had an original Roland JC120 and still have a JC77.What makes this so marvellous is the CE1 setting in stereo. This does exactly what the JC amps do. It sends the warble out to one side only and keeps the other dry. The result is that fantastic stereo swirl, giving the best 3D feel you can get from two amps. The Jazz Chorus amps still have their own thing...they are super, pristine clean and lack the warmth of a tube amp (which I sometimes like), but this pedal in stereo into two tube amps achieves the same 3D chorus effect. The CE2 setting sounds exactly like my old CE2. It’s definitely worth the money.I still have a TC SCF, which is different. But this Boss is a keeper (and my only Boss pedal).

One of the best chorus pedals I have ever played - all analog
Build quality outstanding (rather normal for BOSS pedals), sound warm and beautiful. It's really Made in Japan. In fact having three options in one pedal is amazing. CE-2, CE-1 and Vibrato that used to be in CE-1. All sound great. Buffer is also outstanding. Doesn't make a guitar sound harsh or too bright. It's just super natural. Love this cgorus.

Wish I’d bought one sooner
I am immensely pleased with this purchase of the Boss CE-2W. I had an Ibanez chorus back in the 1980’s. Enjoyed it, but have never truly felt the love for Chorus. Had one or two other chorus pedals between now & then, but similarly I never bonded with them. Different story with the Boss… it was love at first arpeggio. There is magic within the blue box. Don’t know why it’s taken me so long to get one. Now I’m a believer. All modes of the Waza sound exceptional… tho’ I find I’m mainly living in CE-1 land. The deeper vibrato mode is actually my favourite. Can’t decide if I prefer the pedal in mono or stereo - they both sound absolutely killer.Late to the party, but at least I now know, I never need to buy another chorus pedal.

Warm and lush
Beautiful and lush. I was apprehensive about chorus as I didn't really bond with my EHX Small Clone which I found too forward sounding and very cheesy. Now, I can't get enough of this lush sounding pedal. Playing jazz, neo-soul chords or just some 80s hair metal it all sounds lovely.

The best chorus
The CE1 mode is blinding and worth the money alone, the CE2 is as good as the original too. Two pedals in one. Love it. Worth every penny, wibbly wobbly lushness. Do it.

Best chorus pedal you can buy
This is so close to the original Ce-1 and in my opinion better. I've used Boss equipment for over 40 years and this is well worth the money.
